At this point it's no longer a glitch, this is blood magic, let's just accept it as a staple of the dragon age universe.

The year is 20XX. You're playing through dragon age having a blast, but then start to wonder how different the game would be if you made different choices. You begin anew and are eager to get the ball rolling and see the story unfold. You do not, however, wish to grind again. "TO THE KZread", your brain says. You find this video of someone giving an insanely well done video. It makes you glad you thought to look it up! "This will be SO EASY!" your brain whispers to you. Only for you to attempt it and find that it has been PATCHED since AT LEAST July of the year 2022. Realistically speaking much longer ago probably but still. TLDR: If you're reading this the glitch is already patched x(

I had a few problems with this glitch but it DEFINITELY still works. What you need to do is put any crafting material that stacks into your valuables tab. Go to any merchant and go to the valuables tab on the selling tab. You then need to press Y to sell all and pressing A right after. There has to be a small delay(less than a second) for it to register. If you press them at exactly the same time it WILL NOT work.

Thank you for this video. I appreciate something like this being handled with maturity. I am on my third playthrough and want to try a lot of different things without spending a lot of time refarming stuff. Thanks!

2022/3/29- this no longer works. The separate sale screen pops up after all the items disappear, but no extra money or items show up.

As of Jan 11, I can confirm that this does still work on PC. I used it on a few different items. Nothing overkill but to create a few good pieces of equipment to fit out the whole team instead of switching equipment every time I wanted someone different in my party. I click sell all first and immediately after hit enter. You don't want to do it at the exact same time but quick enough to catch it before it sells. There seems to be a pretty good window for your timing, at least that's what I found. Thanks for the video Cowboy.

I know I'm late but doesn't pc have console commands?

Just stumbled onto a glitch in the Storm Coast. There's this one spot where I approach darkspawn around this corner (never actually seeing or fighting any darkspawn). They show up on my map, I approach them, the red dots disappear, and presto, I find multiple loot at my feet and Blackwall slightly approves. I've done this multiple times seemingly without any fallout, it's like having cake and eating it too.

For the record any items work as well as any shop at any time. On Keyboard and mouse you hold the LMB and then drag the items into the sale tab and then immediately press the RMB and let it go as soon as it's in there.

Thank you so much, I've been needing more gold and Destiny killed the whole grinding thing for me so yeah thanks man. Subscribed.

guys try the chest glitch. Place the item you want to duplicate in the chest at skyhold then press the enter button and exit button at the same time. to check you have got it right, you should still have the item in the chest and now another one in your inventory.

Patched. Did everything step by step in the video and I still only have 2 dragon webbing.

does this work for PC with keyboard? i tried with Spacebar for withdrawl + Esc for back. game auto closes for me. What am i missing here?

This sadly no longer works on PC, the correct timing will give you the second sell menu where you can choose an amount, but no matter how many you select to sell the menu simply goes away and yields no ill gotten gold. :(

Is this glitch patched in update 1.11? I tried it with iron just to see if it would work and it didn't work the first time and I can't do it anymore because the sell all option is greyed out dispite me having 4 iron

on ps4 im really having trouble getting it to work i managed to have everything sold in that tab and register the gold amount from that but when i click okay for the windowed sale it doesnt register and more gold added after i sell them

K I pressed the buttons together, it sold, and I still had the option to sell my stack, but when i sold that stack it didnt work.

August 2023. Xbox series x. When you hit sell all then sell immediately after, you do get the individual sell option. However, when you go to buy back, the item is not duplicated. Oh well

I like how your inquisitor is named Mischievous. I named two of my inquisitors War and Medic. It's cool to see other people name them things that aren't proper names.

Can you do this before you get to Skyhold? I just tried it (at the smithy in Haven) and not only did it not work, but it also grayed out my Sell All option button for everything right after I tried. Literally everything.... What am I doing wrong?

I did this glitch a little bit ago and it worked great but then a little while after I do it all the items I duped including the originals and I lose all the money I got from it too.any idea why?

I seem to only be able to dupe some materials, don´t understand why, i´m playing on v1.00, so it should work, but like elfroot i can´t dupe, but i can dupe velveteen and summer stone, i don´t get why?

It's been patched out on PC. You can click sell all, hear a sound, and then sell using spacebar, but it never duplicates.

Keep in mind also if you're playing on pc at a faster, more consistent framerate the button inputs will have to be even faster. I've tested this on pc using an xbox controller and it still works perfectly.

Repeat over and over until your a rich noble hav I got anything wrong? Cuz I'm not yet at that place yet. I'm at getting the horses for the inquisition part its right after the inquisition is reformed. And I would like to try this. When do I get to this area?

+NEO Sapien You've probably found out by now but just in case you haven't, you can use any shop, or at least I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

They just had an update recently. I have been trying this and it has not been working no matter how hard I try or what items are used. I think they finally managed to patch it

Does it still work and if it does does it work on ps4 ben trying to do it with dragon bones but it dosent seem to dupe

So this works for me on Xbox One, but when I leave a vendor and go back and try to duplicate an item I have already duplicated the item no longer shows up under the valuables tab when I try to sell it. I make sure that the item is put into the valuables section in my inventory beforehand as well. Does anyone know why this is happening? Any help would be appreciated.

Move the items into the valuables sections before trying to duplicate them for the first time, they should appear in the valuables tab again when you purchase them again. Also, after duplicating, it might be a good idea to check other sections of the inventory and repeat the process of moving the items into valuables tab.

Do you know if this works on the creature research items?

With the latest update, this glich is fixed. Now im gonna die trying to find all crafting material...

There was an update yesterday for ps3, is this still working? I tried it for the first time and cannot get the items to duplicate. I get the sell all and then the sell how many to sell as well but then it does not duplicate in the buy back menu. I am doing everything according to the vids online.....any ideas?

I forgot to mention I could only get it to work with stackables.

This glitch no longer works when it transferred over to X box one

For ingredients if you have two in a stack all you have to do is select to sell one of the two then click to sell three times as fast as you can and it duplicates

i think the only way to un-patch it is to delete the game and reinstall it.

I think they patched it, all materials marked as valuables go back to materials after you sell

How do you unlock the storage chest in skyhold?

Sucks they fixed this. I just bought this game and started getting into it, but is taking forever to find gold loot. I'd like to get quality gear and weapons.

it might be patched on ps3...this morning it downloaded an update, and since I can't duplicate metal/cloth items now

So handy using this with dragon materials, did all that work to kill one dragon and thought I would get something usable out of it but to craft anything you need like all dragons dead and then you only have enough to craft one item...

how do you get the chest?

I tried this for the first time last night on PS4. It didnt work. It sold the normal number of Iron. So maybe I didn't do it right but worst part is that the SELL ALL is now GREYED OUT and it can't be pressed on ANY item regardless of how many I have.

Your doing something wrong, sell all should not be greyed out it means your in the wrong menu, you didn't tap the buttons fast enough that's why your iron stayed the same amount.

It works simply because "sell all" coding takes a split second to scan ur inventory for the system since its a game big file it needs to work the conversion correctly going through multiple folders and note files to access correct values. Within that time frame while the files is converting items to gold exchange, the coding is still not finish , so any other input you press will still counted as an extra variable towards the outcome of the code for the money u be getting. Therefore they didnt even add a block code to these action that prevent dupe just easily by allowing outcome to only take One variable in and not Two variable, causing a dupe. As a tech geek, i feel like the dupe is really intentional cus i can easily patch that jus putting an outcome rule to allow only 1 variable OR limit buy back quanity equivalent go item quanity when opening store. Alot of games, some instant action sometimes have time frames to process therefore allowing possibility of glitched or bug if not fixed.
