Now-a-days police officers are more likely to carry AR-15s or a similar combat rifle, as opposed to the Thompson sub gun. Shotguns are still issued, too.

I would feel safer “ spraying lead” like a Thomson does compared to any single shot . Just my thoughts though ....Rat aTat tat😎 Happy new year. Hmmmm now would that be a fully automatic AR15 ? Do they make those?

I’m a longtime lover of Dragnet. The radio show was meant to sound as realistic as possible. Take some time to do some research on just how much work went in to each and every radio episode.

AFter listening to these shows, I almost want to take up smoking.
