Absolutely love this show.. All the characters portrayed in this drama are likeable and their voices are great for radio.

There are two characters portrayed who are very unlikeable. The acting was very good.

Fatima presents " it's Academy award winning radio program " ? Didn't know this show was involved in the awards from the Academy. I did hear there was once a Dragnet movie by Jack Webb.

Maya Lee explain to me then how people win awards for best actress in a comedy series. And since you apparently haven’t heard many episodes dragnet won several different types of awards. Dragnet couldn’t have gotten away with saying it if it wasn’t true

@ Maya Lee I think that for a time, the Academy presented awards for radio plays, and that Dragnet won in its category.

If this is based on fact there was a miscarriage of justice in the case, both were equally guilty of murder. both should have been treated the same, either executed or given life. How can one be less guilty than the other?

In fact if it wasn’t for the father this would have never happened. I agree both are equally guilty. Both should have received the same sentence.

Interesting how the arrest date of the husband was June 7th, 1951 when the program aired in May 17, 1951. Misspeak or prediction?🤔

@random Perhaps, they thought it would be good to be as current as possible, and when they recorded this episode, they assumed that it would air later than it did? That’s the best I can come up with.

It's sad the only thing about this fine program from an excellent series you comment on is the commercials, and you complain about them. If you don't like the commercials, just skip them.
