@@Rana_bullet creta is max 1,344 kgs and virtus is 1,275 kgs. With 4 xtra passengers (4*50kgs (4 bando ka 50 hi le lete h weight) = 200 kgs) the virtus is the one with the most weight. Aerodynamics is the only thing you can take into consideration and nothing else.

Although I own and love a VW, I thought this is not apples to apples comparison for two reasons. First being the aerodynamics of both models are different and secondly Creta is little underpowered than Virtus. But I must say that I was surprised to see Creta performing so badly even after being given so much of advantage in distance and weight it couldn't match. I guess they can do better by tuning the chip/ software of the automatic gearbox.

Hyundai doesn't launch its performance engines in India, as its always mileage war game. So the engines are tuned to not be agressive. But VW range have their engines tuned for Europe performance and not for India. So definitely there is no surprise. Transmission plays the next major role, and not just the bhp numbers. That way truck or bus should run the fastest.

No, you are wrong. Virtus isn't tuned as per European standards. Very few VW which comes to India actually are. For eg, T-roc is but then when you drive T-roc R (which again' i beleive is not available in India), normal one would feel dull. India doesn't even have a Golf, let alone Golf-R MK. That one will give you a true European standard Volkswagen car.

Virtus 1.5 is definitely quicker than a creta turbo coz the engine is virtus is more powerful,more torque,it's more aerodynamic,lighter and most importantly dsg is far superior than Hyundai Kias dct. But this creta turbo is definitely having some problems or the driver is not good for sure coz this creta turbo has been beaten by creta tc dsl which is impossible. U must try once with pratham shooken creta turbo. He has a lot of experience.

You can’t compare sedan vs suv… the drag coefficient is more in suv. Can’t compare oranges to apples

I don't think that's a fair comparison. The wight difference between two cars is around 150-200kg, creta being on the heavier side. Further more, all the compact SUV's or SUV's are aerodynamically less efficient than the sedan cars. So just because both the cars have same torque and power doesn't mean you can compare them. It's like pulling a horse cart with two horses and then pulling a bulldoser with two horses and comparing and at the end saying that since power is same we can compare them.

But Virtus GT doesn't have any direct competitor in its segment in terms of performance so we just compared the engines 1.5 TSI and 1.4 TGDI which happened to be only in creta

Bro jab Virtus mai 5 occupants the tab toh Creta ke paas tha Power to weight ka advantage lekin phirbhi haar gayi woh toh

Bhai no hate for Creta , Creta is good car for city and Highway with good mileage, - - build quality But Virtus ne Creta ka Pokemon bana Diya
