Rapid will win. Due to difference in engine tuning

I also felt vento overall setup and pulling power is better then polo. I beat lots of polo gt tsi on highways with my 1.5 TDI DSG. Vento always build gaps on straight drag with polo.

Not surprised because I am driving vento DSG and manual since 2014 and never defeated by polo. VW has done something in chip programming and I never asked them for mileage but always insist for power .

That's the air resistance for you , vento getting benefit with its streamlined nature...

vento had all ingredients needed to massively succeed as a sedan ,apparently indians are always small minded so they prefer hatchbacks, and then they came up with polo and most of the people liked it and the first one went in the backstage because if i remember correctly vento had competitive sedans from other companies, when polo was launched it didn't have that much competition in hatchback segment so it was a easy way out for indian public ,ironically i never rode vento but it was the only volkswagen vehicle i ever liked even in front of virtus or its other models

U shouldn't have sit in polo. Your 50-60 kg extra might have made initial torque lag. Also may factors should be taken into consideration like: 🔥Tyre condition &pressures 🔥Equal fuel load 🔥air filter condition 🔥 Engine oil level & condition 🔥Intake manifold condition ( without soot) 🔥EGR Condition(makes lot of difference) 🔥Additional weight 💥Note: if both racing cars are of same age then it's ok ,not to take all these factors into consideration.😊

I have both the cars. And also I had driven vento and polo but I had only driven vento in speed and I hadn't tried to drive polo in speed. I had driven vento at the speed of 184 km/ph. I had expected that vento will win.

You're right

Vento had an upper edge due to its aerodynamics as it is a sedan. Additionally there is extra weight on polo and also the torque tuning and all over powerband matters, even with the same engine!!

Bro bodywise there is no difference in both. Aerodynamics and ground clearance are almost same in both. Infact the suspension of polo are more stiffer than vento and polo is light weight too but still vento is fast I don't know how 🙄🙄

i own 1.6 TDI Vento, aajtak koi takkar ki gaadi nhi mili mujhe. uska jab punch launch hota hai na, to literally vento push you back... wo jo body push ka feel hai aisa lagta hai ki runway se take off kiya hai gaadi ne. Vento is undisputed king of its segment.
