Is it really a fair comparison? A manual vs a DCT. Why?! Why wouldn't you bother bringing the Venue N Line manual? I think the XUV would have still won, but the gap would have been lesser.

I guess this was shot before the manual N-lines were launched or maybe getting a demo model for one of those wasn't possible. But man, that DCT DOES NOT like to launch 😂

DCT without any launch control is the last thing you want for a drag race. 😂 The C3 vs XUV will be more interesting

The manual was an advantage for 300 but believe you me, XUV will be the clear winner any given day, be it manual or AT.

DCT vs manual isn't fair, venue should be in manual.

These manual vs automatics doesn't make any sense when the automatic car doesn't have launch control! Totally wasteful drag race. Bring in the AMT XUV300 or the manual Venue for a fair competition

XUV 300 is a good car. Only drawback is the boot space

Where is 0-100 time guys ?? It is most important parameter,, most of us drive on highway we have to overtake buses, trucks ,, if you are doing this, what stopping you from revealing the 0-100 timing,, I guess this is biggest miss of these videos

DCT doesn't give you additional horse power and torque to magically cover up the distance created after a poor start. It is definitely an unfair drag race and theres no doubt about it. Manual vs manual may have showed same results but definitely more fair and interesting

Do a rolling start as well for DCT/DSG equipped cars since these gearboxes doesn't allow for an agressive launch. Else you make the comparison unfair. As a drag race it's correct though but viewers who don't know about these gearboxes will be left wondering why the venue got smoked in the drag race and will think of it as being inferior.

Dct would be better if it had launch control or if it was a rolling race..but the dct transmission of Hyundai is tuned for mileage not exactly for performance

Mahindra has really sorted out the XUV300 when it comes to performance. It would be interesting to see this drag race again as the Venue is now available with a manual gearbox

The vw dsg can be tricked into launching but this hyundai dct doesnt even allow revving in neutral and putting in drive
