I’m a California boy & have never been to New York, but I have such a huge respect for New York. I know for a fact there’s so much culture there & rawness that I will never experience living in a California suburb.

a m a z o n that’s how we are, it’s true. The only rude people are the ones who just moved here and think they need to be rude to fit it. It’s just not necessary. We’re nice 👍 And we love giving directions, it’s a point of pride, we love to show off our knowledge of getting around the city the best way possible.

Haha same! I noticed they were perhaps more kept to themselves (in the southwest we'll talk with everyone lol), but everyone I spoke with was very kind. One lady even helped put several of us at the same time when we were fresh off the airport bus and were asking questions about directions left and right. Loved NYC, can't wait to go back for more visits (and to see different parts of NY state as well) 👍🏼🗽🌃
