You look like the classical man at the back of the library who read Oscar Wilde while smiling charmingly at those you catch staring at you. Long story short, you are my make-up role model.

This is such a lovely comment. It brought a genuine smile to my face. Thank you :)
Ok this is amazing! I'm a trans dude and a history major as well, and my God y'all do in 30 minutes what testosterone haven't done to me yet in 8 months

trans masc history majors unite lmao, same here!! so exciting for you that you’re on t! I’m planning to start next year through the gender affirming health care at my college
Thank you, sir! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! I'm a middle-aged, drag-ignorant, woman, who doesn't get out much. I've been invited to a DIY ("drag it yourself") engagement party. The drag part is optional, but I want to participate and show full support for the gender bending couple. I've spent the last few weeks trying to come up with a drag king persona. I was like "how does one figure out what style of facial hair suits one's face??" My 14 year old daughter was like "mom. filters. Duh." So I found a few of those online. I thought a full beard would be fun, but rather horrifyingly discovered I looked like my uncle Al. I figured out the clothing side and how to flatten my chest but was rather flummoxed over what to do with my face. This tutorial is PERFECT!!! I found the right way to contour my round face and used your techniques for creating facial hair that doesn't make me look like my uncle. Now I can't wait to go to the party as a gorgeous, middle-aged, gentleman - a silver fox. Thank you again!!!

Wow you cool
9:46 Now that you've smudged your two dollar eyeshadow palette, on to a two dollar brush, and smudged it on your two dollar face... lmao that killed me
You added the nose and became a whole dude I’m shook
As a budding FTM I really appreciated this!! Most of the other makeup tutorials are either low-key hostile or just like... they kind of do it without explaining what's up? Also you're very personable!! I relate to you despite not knowing you super well :) Well done!!
This is awesome, I love how you presented your method with a personal flair. This is going to be 100% helpful with my LARP character--I'm finally creating a male character but needed help with really selling it. Now I'm kinda feeling like he might have a lil goatee. :D
Holy crap. You’re the drag king of my dreams. If you’re ever down under, would love to see you perform 😍
I've been binging Ru Paul's drag race for the past week and I was wishing I could be a drag queen as a woman, because honestly most of the time when I wear feminine clothes I feel like I AM in drag lol obviously I then realized I could be a drag king so today I've been collecting inspiration and this is the first makeup tutorial I've watched literally ever. I always hated makeup but now seeing this it gets me so excited to get started!! Thanks for making this

There are actually female drag queens out there! They embrace extreme femininity (since that is what drag is in the first place, regardless of gender) and dress in drag! It's super interesting!

You can be both! Bio women drag Queens are called bio Queens ! And you don't have ro do like them, you can try to do your own thing

Also you can totally be a queen as a woman, there are bio queens and trans queens who are women and nb queens. Drags is more about exaggerated performances than anything, its all valid
This was sincerely fantastic, and your variety of diverse interests were so passionately spoken!! Thank you ^^
I did a lip sync in an oral exam at university today and had to explain it afterwards for a seminar called "America in Drag". I used your tutorial to transform myself into a drag king, thank you so much!
WOOOOOW! I'm a straight girl and I literally, LITERALLY, learned more about contour and its logic from you more than all the other girly girl makeup tutorials I've ever seen. I'm in my early 20s and I'm still clueless about makeup, specifically about contouring, until now. This is so informative and precise, and might I add that your voice is sooo soothing. Love how you don't make things complicated. The final result is ever so gorgeous. I'm subscribing. Thank you so much 😍😍😍
I’ve never seen you before but if you’ve ever gotten that feeling where you fall a little bit in love with a stranger I want you to know that is exactly what I’m feeling right now

This is only the first video I've ever seen of yours but I'm already in love with your personality
I was looking for drag King makeup inspiration for an 18th century f**k boy and you did not disappoint me. I cannot wait to follow along for my first time in drag
I love your entire aesthetic! I have a Victorian Boho vibe and this gives me life
It's AMAZING. You're very elegant, I like your style (it's the one I'm seeking to impersonate). And the make up is chef kiss. It's not only the best drag king make up tutorial I've seen, it's THE BEST MAKE UP TUTORIAL I've seen ♥
As a person who does a LOT of male characters, I thank you a thousand times for this!! I have a "baby face" so that plus more feminine features makes it hard to do my makeup to look masculine. I'm definitely trying some of this out when I can get back into my cosplays (very soon)
Whoops I have a crush on both versions. But seriously, thank you for this. I’ve been wanting to experiment with drag king make-up for a while and this was the exact type of tutorial I was looking for.
I was using this as reference for a makeup look i had to do but i wasn't expecting you to be so charismatic i absolutely loved this video and you're incredibly talented at makeup💛
I kinda dig that his look is kind of British Nobleman unless I interpreted the style incorrectly?
Schubert and drag kings! I couldn’t be happier
It took me a hot second but I did it! I found my number one favorite drag king I absolutely adore your style!
I like how there is 0 dislikes. So wholesome.

Two people saw your comment and disliked the video out of spite. They must have some serious and strange vendetta against you, and have made it their mission to dishonor your word. Really makes you think.
that was an entertaining and pleasant experience, loved it!!
“And smudge it on your $2 face” 😂🤣
How are you so good at this!?!?!? You're the whole package dude, funny, talented, interesting, you've got it all! Awesome video, makes me want to get into drag myself!
Oh my god classical and dapper drag kings are real. in this modern age. I was just rambling on another (also a few years old) video about how it wasn't something I had seen and was part of why I hesitated. Honestly I was getting closer to just doing it regardless. Especially sense there isn't like... rules on what you can be. It's quite the opposite actually haha. But it's nice to see someone who has done it. Mainly what has taken me so long aside from hesitation, is that I keep accidentally putting it on the back burner, as I attempt to just exist in life and get my mental health together. And uh, not knowing how to even look into it, but that's more of a skill issue because I've barely tried doing so. Also, turns out paying more attention to what you want out of life and how you want to present, is good for one's mental health. Incredible. Update: Wanting a degree in everything is so real. I am also very good at not committing to even one of them though because of this. Also ayyy history. I am sensing a pattern that people who like history also just like a lot of things and/or want to do a lot of things. I guess makes sense history is uh, everything that has existed haha.
As someone who is currently working on getting into the drag king scene, I have been watching every tutorial I can find on KZread. I saw this, and couldn’t shake the feeling that I recognized your name. Only to find out that you uploaded the “I Made a Promise to the Moon” video I’ve been listening to for years, ever since I got into Welcome to Night Vale and introduced to Jason Webley so long ago! Ha! Funny how things connect.
You are so charismatic! I loved watching this video.
I just get so happy when I find people in the internet that I can relate to, thank you for existing, ha, ha!
I'm considering doing drag myself. Your video is rather useful.
I love your style, and this is inspiring. The Victorian era is one of my favorite time periods as well. I dressed as a Victorian gentleman once, and was considering Captain Jack Sparrow, since I have the wig.
Serving some Dan Radcliffe in Lady in Black realness! I Love it!!!
okay you stepped into the room and I was immediately obsessed with you
Oh wow . You inspire me . I wish i could be a drag king too .. I pretty much look like a dude tbh but there's no such opportunity in my country people would just freak out
One of my first jobs was a living museum as well, in the 1800's. I was so jealous of the men in their suits while I wore dresses that did not flatter me. But I remember loving learning about flower language and a girl from another house and I would bring each other bouquets to decode.
You're so regal, quirky and dapper !
Dude. I think I'm in love you with.
I love this! I want to start joining a drag king show, and the facial hair is helping me so much! Thank you! 11:45 made me giggle so much, and this entire video made me smile :)
So cool ! And such a good tutorial
LOVE THIS!!!!!!! Thank you I'll try
You are amazing -- love this!
Omg this is amazing!! You're an awesome grag king and you have inspired me!
Thanks so much, I've wanted to start doing drag for a few months but was scared and had no idea how to start but today I followed this tutorial and I'm so happy with how it looks!!! 😁

I'm in love with this! *thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.* You're divine!
Your energy is contagiously serotonin inducing! I love this
Love love love this! May I also say you are gorgeous! I watched one of your earlier tutorials awhile back when I tried doing drag for the first time and I’m happy to see you offering more tips!
I like the part about looking in the mirror and admiring myself in the end. Thanks for making this.
I'm playing Rocky in a Rocky Horror shadow cast, and rather than wear a gold tube top (yuck) I'm gonna do full man drag and draw on some muscles. Very exciting !! I've always wanted to try drag ^^
My gosh! This was magical! I loved every moment! Your makeup looks amazing and the outfit sells it! I felt like I went back in time! Absolutely amazing!! 🙌🏻👏👏👏👏

Looking dapper indeed!
Thank you, Oliver! I'm a new drag king performer (and a very feminine-looking cis woman out of drag), just starting out and learning and I needed to see this so I could prepare for my first performance. You explain it so well. Love it.
You look so good, I really want to become a drag king, but I have no idea how to. Watching you makes me super inspired tho!
I am a gay guy and you made me question my gayness. 😂😂😂 You rock!
You are amazing!
Brilliant video!
I frickin love you hahaha. I’m getting back into comedic drag after 8 years of absence, and your video took me right back to doing theater makeup all throughout school. (I preferred doing male roles too, yaaass) I was genuinely entertained & adore your realness. Thank you for reminding me yes, I can use eyeshadow and mascara/liquid brow filler! You’re the first person to show easily how to map your face for drag too and I appreciate this and also you. Bonus: Total John Mulaney vibes, which is a fantastic thing 😂💗
