The winner is determined by theme wear and main competition, that's why Shewarma ranked 1 last week. The winner of dragdagulan could just win an advantage (almost like a consolation) but does not weigh in their scores/ranking.

I really loved Pura Luka Vega's "Talikodgenic" themewear look.. Coz basically that means "photogenic only from behind" and then she revealed her bearded face. I gagged. I liked this ep! Coz I finally kinda understood how the show's supposed to work. Not all the jokes landed but I laughed a lot at some.

The "neckbrace" and "wheelchair" jokes are actually really funny as it became a polotical joke that when someone finishes their term as a president or in any government position, they pretend to be diagnosed with a sickness in order to avoid court hearings or so that the court's decision won't be so harsh (even tho they deserve it). A great example of this is Ex President, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, which is played by Marina Summers in the snatch game of Drag Race Philippines, hence why she was wearing a nekbrace throughtout the game.

Disfruté muchísimo este capítulo! Conecté mucho más con las Reinas y para ser latino y a veces no entender por completo las referencias, la verdad es que el carisma de las reinas me hizo reír bastante. El primer desafío lo encontré de un excelente nivel. El segundo queda a disposición del talento de las Reinas para hacer comedia, pero si siento que los guiones fueron enfocados a todo público y me gustó! En cuanto al Dragdagulan, me estuve informando y gana quien desafíe mejor a su rival, es decir, quien hace una performance más atractiva. Ciertamente no me complica ese desafío, solo lo disfruto, ya que no tiene gran relevancia para los puntajes de las reinas. En cuanto a las críticas, me gustaría escuchar que deben mejorar por qué tengo entendido que si les indican, pero también me parece bien que el perfil sea la positividad. En as7 no me molestó, tampoco acá.

im really trying my hardest to watch dragden but the whole concept needs a little more time to figure out. these queens are amazing hope to see them in future rpdr franchises. the production is better than drph tho.

Just to give you an idea of where the "dragdagulan" is referenced from. Brief history: Part of Philippine culture is "fiesta" / festivals which are celebrated not just in every city but also in the smallest unit of the local government - we call them barangay (ba-rang-gay). And during these fiesta celebrations, gays and drag queens have always been a big part, doing shows and giving laughs. Part of what makes them a hit is when they do "bardagulan" a gay cat fight or whatever which most of the time of course, gets a little physical. But that is all for the show, for entertainment. Gays love to stir the crowd and all that. They like to make commotions (which we call "eksena"). So Dragdagulan is bardagulan in drag. They are like drunk gays just getting wild during fiesta. 🥲

Shewarma and Aries' performance, specifically, the chant "Boobsie Boogel ni Mamshie" which translates to "Mother's Big Boobs," if you take its acronym "BBM" is actually our current president's initials which is why they had to censor it out. The Marcoses, if you know about history, are pretty popular around the world, specifically for the Guinness Record of Greatest Robbery of a Government (which Manila mentioned last episode). The current president is a Marcos.

I know their efforts but im not really impress. I better watch a real drag pageants or miss gay pangkalawakan (miss gay universe). Its more fun.

in dragdagulan, they don't determine the winner by the number of hits of the ball, it's also a lipsync/dance showdown. the only problem is because of song copyright, they can't play it about shewarma and aries, their jokes landed well. the only problem is their jokes felt too short and also, you can only understand their joke if your filipino thanks for supporting dragden valery🤍🤍
