Disappointed, yes. Mad at you, no! Amazing how I can watch a video and have the same excitement and anticipation then the let down and disappointment right along with you! I know how it makes me feel so it must be unbelievably emotionally draining for your family! I also know it will happen, so will be with you on your journey until it does. So true. An important lesson that not a lot of parents teach their children these days. And then those children have big problems when they grow up with their finances and sticking to a budget and paying their bills. Then they turn to their parents for loans and even move back home to live!! This seems to be becoming the norm now rather than the exception. Absolutely not leaving, your channel. I love channels with authenticity, not perfect endings for each exciting anticipation. Delayed gratification and all that. it certainly felt like the Universe was saying, 'No' to you buying one that day.. It must have been difficullt on the drive home and an anticlimax. Natty with Bekah, was adorable to watch and hearing Emery's adoration of the 2 week filly and her mama. The story continues and we still have Sioux to follow, carrying Oliver's offspring. And all of your other beautiful animals on the farm. Soon be swimming in the river time! ❤

I’m not angry, I love these horse shopping videos. I’ll never own a horse but I like dreaming of owning one and living vicariously through those who can live that dream.

I am not a particularly religious person but I do believe in waiting for a feeling and I do believe that what is meant for you will not pass you by. So I commend you on waiting for that sign, that feeling, and for responsibly sticking to a budget you set for yourself. Look what happened when you got Oliver. you weren’t looking for a Clydesdale, but you fell in love with him and so did we. Because of that you were able to bring him home for all of us to love. When the time is right and the horse is the right one Oliver will have a companion. Who knows, someone could end up gifting you the perfect companion for Oliver. You just never know what life is going to hand you. For those that are upset with you just ignore them. They aren’t the ones who have the responsibility of training and raising whatever horse you get. Things will work out exactly how they’re supposed to.
