das ist mein absoluter lieblingssong. und mich erstaunt das immer: hört mal hin. und zwar, die kompination aus hartrock und Orchester. Da bekomme ich gänsehaut. das erstaunt mich immer wieder. Thomas und Uwe passen einfach für diese Rollen. Schade, dass es nicht so oft aufgeführt wird.. :( Gänsehaut!

My only wish is that they'd stick this awesome song on the English versions. It's too bad it was written afterward, as it's seriously like the best song in the entire show. I would give my right arm to hear Douglas Sills and/or James Barbour sing this. The idea is just...hnnnnnggh.

Yeah, but the Finale is still my all-time-favourite^^ I love "Zu Ende" and it was the first Song of the Musical I ever heard but the Finale is just wonderful (and far better in english than in german despite Thomas Borchert is a quite awesome Dracula)

Whaaaaaa .... uwe kröger und thomas borchert im gleichen musical ..... ich sag nur: EPIC Da kann man mal über ein paar schiefe töne hinwegsehn ;) wobei ich find, dass schiefe töne einfach zu live musik gehören dass macht sie wirklich live und ganz ehrlich: ist diese ganze studio perkektion nich langweilig ? Ich find schon :) niemand ist perfekt- auch musical darsteller ham ihre fehler :)

In the English versions it's really obvious that this was written in another language. It's just..akward. :/ In fact, the whole show sounds so much better in German. I love this show, but the German International release here is by far the best version, no question. Luckily they finally put it on KZread with lyrics included! It's gorgeous. :3

Actually it was written originally in English. Frank Wildhorn was the producer. I have several Demos with Douglas Sills playing Dracula. It didn't do well on Broadway. When it opened in Germany it did much better. Wildhorn seems to be doomed by critics before his shows even open. I like his shows quite alot.

I agree. And yes, the musical was originally English, but this song in particular was written for the actors in the German version. :) It really is sad how critics react to his work, as his is some of my favorite stuff.

naja die Stimmen sind ähnlich aber sie sind gut zu unterscheiden. es sind beides Klasse Tenöre Thomas ist aber n gutes stück tiefer und dunkler (von der Klangfarbe her) als Uwe auch wenn sie etwa gleich hoch singen. hört man im Refrain sehr gut.

it was writen to give Uwe Kroger another song but put in to the american version i'm duing the show this summer and playing the part of van helsing i will post english versions of the show when we are a good 3 months done so it will be up in december of this year mayyr early x-mas or other holiday

Uwe naja meiner Meinung nach ist er einfach nicht mehr das as er mal gewesen sein könnte. Er klingt hier häufiger schief udn presst die töne etwas heraus.. da zeigt sich schon seiner langsamer Leistungsabfall... so jetzt werde ich getötet, aber ich wollte nur klarmachen was ich als geübte Sängerin heraushöre. Thomas ist naja was soll ich dazu noch sagen Leistungstark wie immer.

it was writen to give Uwe Kroger another song but put in to the american version i'm duing the show this summer and playing the part of van helsing i will post english versions of the show when we are a good 3 months done so it will be up in december of this year mayyr early x-mas or other holiday

@diesirae16 wenn du dir die Gesamtaufnahme von Dracula ansiehst, wirst du feststellen, dass es dort zumindest dieses Lied besser gelaufen ist obwohl alles i-wie erkältet waren^^ Ja ich denke dann auch immer: " nein bitte aufhören" Sag mal was machst du für Musik??

Uwe naja meiner Meinung nach ist er einfach nicht mehr das as er mal gewesen sein könnte. Er klingt hier häufiger schief udn presst die töne etwas heraus.. da zeigt sich schon seiner langsamer Leistungsabfall... so jetzt werde ich getötet, aber ich wollte nur klarmachen was ich als geübte Sängerin heraushöre. Thomas ist naja was soll ich dazu noch sagen Leistungstark wie immer.
Ich bin Amerikaner, damit ich über meine Entschuldigung, aber Deutsch hat einen nicht, wenn dieses Lied fällt in der Show
