@@bexigah Não é não. O diretor desse clipe do Metallica é o Samuel Bayer. Ele dirigiu vários clipes de bandas foda, e os clipes dele são incríveis, vale a pena dar uma olhada. Eu queria saber quem fez a Direção de Arte desse clipe do Metallica. Nesse do Draconian a fotógrafa Natalia Drepina fez tudo. Ela trabalhou toda a parte visual do álbum.

Yeah dude, these guys are doing some Epic shit, not just in their genre, but In General! Usually the stuff I like has a bit of a following, and I was so excited to see that these guys- unlike a lot of great acts- are actually getting the respect they deserve. (Though, we may argue, at least 100M more people should be aware of them, and then we may rest).

Sethians were one of the main Gnostic groups (along with Valentinians and Basilidians). Their main theology principles were: 1. They atrributed gnosis to the Seth, third son of the Adam and Eve. 2. Norea (Sophia after the fall from grace) was next notable figure and thought to be the wife of Noah 3. Christ never got a physical body, his presence was rather spiritual projection. They believed Seth and Jesus to be the one figure actually. 4. God of Old Testament/Jahwe was a malevolent demiurge spawned by accident when Sophia tried to emmanate power without the knowledge of others aeons. 5. Snake in the garden was actually a symbol of liberation from Saklas rule. "Abject patriarch of insolence"- Gnostics contested church order "My knees won't bend My hands won't fold"- pretty much self-explanatiory- act of expostulation against demiurge.

I feel Natalia Drepina is amazingly embodiying the gnostic eon Sophia in this serie of Draconian videos (previously in "Sorrow of Sophia").Moreover, the music video "Sleepwalkers" is the most beautiful one I´ve ever watched. I think the album "Under a Godless Veil" and Drepina´s art match perfectly. Hopefully the band and the artist continue with their collaboration.

The user would have wanted to see us band members participating in the video, but reading your comment you seem to resonate with us. Natalia is all over this album... almost all visual representations apart from two lyric videos. It needs to bge consistent and especially with this last video for the album. And like yourself I am very thrilled by the Sleepwalkers video. That was all her. I just okayed the script and talking with her it already seemed magnificent so I had no doubt really. Anyways. The Epitome of Heavy filled with beauty and Artistic creativity

This is a spiritual journey and the transformation is beautiful.

This is becoming one of my favorite tracks, so so good.

Heike's vocal run beginning around 5:40 is the purest example of vocal greatness! Control, power, and emotion. She is one best vocalists of any genre on this earth. Anders and Johan masters of their craft!! A North American tour someday?, I can only hope.

@@MitchelleDias Jesus was one of the incarnation of True God (non malevolent demiurge from old testament called JHWH/Jehova). Demiurge is indifferent about oure suffering. Mainstream religions (christianity, islam, judaism) are worshiping a demon as God. Book of Job is one of the most horrific things I have ever readen and it manifests true nature of demiurge- he allowed poor Job to lose his wealth, health and family. Terrible act of malevolent false prophet.

@@MitchelleDias Jesus (I prefer to Call him Christos) was actually a cool figure, can't say the same about Jahwe (Demiurge). Old Testament shows how wicked and malevolent Jahwe was. Book of Job is a good ilustration. "God" made a bet with "Satan" regarding Job's soul. He has lost his wife, children, house and his health. Would loving father do something like this ?

Aos brasileiros que não sabem o significado das músicas e ficam teorizando coisas, uma ajuda: Esse álbum foi escrito inspirado em escritos gnósticos, o Anders, explica isso no clipe Sorrow of Sophia(Sophia ou Achamoth), no entendimento gnóstico o mundo material o qual vivemos foi criado por um grande arquiteto chamado Demiurgo(considerado pelos gnósticos o Deus do velho testamento, que era impiedoso e mal, que é nada mais nada menos que a "cópia" mal do verdadeiro Deus). Onde nesse mundo material o ser humano é posto ao fardo da vida, cercada de sofrimentos e tristezas. O Diabo que vocês podem achar que se refere pode ser interpretado também como o Demiurgo/Lúcifer(The Morningstar[existe uma música também com esse nome do Draconian], ou Estrela da Manhã, Lúcifer também é citado na cultura greco romana como Demiurgo), o criador do mundo material e a cópia mal/ruim do verdadeiro Deus. No entendimento gnóstico o verdadeiro Deus, só pode ser encontrado a partir da Gnose(conhecimento). not enough can be said for how crafted the songs are ---when the guitar solo weaves into view it delivers on all accounts my attraction to Heike goes beyond normal into long daydreams of alternate reality and possibility ..every musician here on top of their game it really is the components of a masterpiece down to even how to tune your guitar to this and get that feel ... brutal real sad evoking fragile timeless alot of words come to mind Draconian high art ...

@@MitchelleDias Jesus is the last incarnation of Christos. The canonical gospels has very little to do with the real Christ. They were altered to fit a certain narrative, so then Christianity got politicised as a tool for social control. The Christos was first introduced as "Seth" in the story. So Jesus, Seth... even Hermes, Thoth and Lucifer (yes!) was also manifestations, or well, the latter, at least representations of his power and intent.

Draconian é uma banda que se supera a cada álbum lançado e isso é muito raro, geralmente as bandas se desgastam ao longo dos anos. Mas eles melhoram cada vez mais, esse álbum está incrível, a vocalista é perfeita e nos faz viajar p outras dimensões, minha banda favorita na atualidade! Espero um dia vê-los no Brasil 🇧🇷

Old Tristania. It will probably, forever, be my favourite band. Also, I'm really fond of Enter, Within Temptation's first album.

Damn... ya know... sometimes I'm just left speechless...I could sit here and type up an entire book on how I feel about this band and it still wouldn't explain how deeply moved I am by them. Yahweh/Elohim/Allah/ is a false god. If it was good father's creation then how come there is so much suffering in this realm? Earth feels like a "hell" in some way. Lethal diseases, poverty, hunger, wars, injustce, violence... If one reads into Old Testament diligently, it's hard to dismiss how many times that "God" plays with human like pawns, humilating and straight up destroying innocent lives.

i love this band since there first album. so full of atmosphere and feelings.

her voice is so good that she is the voice of draconian

Every song off this album nails it, and every video's a masterpiece. It's unreal.

I love not just the music but also the astronomical aspects. :-)

draconian, agrypnie (other genre but also masterpiece band) and other kinds of this music has helped me a lot in my past to deal with many many sad, cruel and frustrating moments it make me happy to see people find and respect this kind of music or genre, not every one can handle doom metal or themes about depressing, solitude and world pain
