Hello Jim, the weather was really nice and attracted a lot of kite flyers and visitors... unfortunately due to the heavy influx of visitors it took some people more than 2 hours to get to the beach and another 2 hours to get back down... something like that I've never experienced it on Römö...

Thanks for sharing such a wind variety of kites!

Danke schön, leider kommt es nicht im Video nicht so richtig zur Geltung aber am Strand waren viel mehr Drachen als man im Film sehen kann...

just loved the ground displays. I saw a few kites we have over here. BUT, I liked your colors better. Was Glenn Mitchel there? I saw his black witch riding a broomstick kite... a great showing of so many different kites.

Glenn was not there, Jim. The witch is an item available from Kaixuan Kites in China.

Thank you very much, I can't say whether Jim was at the kite festival on Römö... with the many people who were on the beach this year it's not that easy to find someone... I have the impression that there are always people busy with the kites and have fun flying kites, which is why you see more and more kites at the various kite festivals...

Ingo, must everyone be off the beach at night? There are so many expensive motor homes at the event. How does Romo house and feed so many visitors? It seems like the sport of kings!

Hello Glenn, yes officially overnight stays and camping are prohibited throughout Denmark! But there are always some who don't stick to it and then leave their rubbish on the beach and in nature... Unfortunately, at the kite festival it is tolerated and very little checked by the police (there is a lack of staff) although it can be very expensive if you get caught becomes. Many guests only come for one day and bring their food and drink with them because food, especially alcohol, is very expensive in Denmark...
