"Modern Mirror" is a journey of self-reflection, nostalgia, love, beauty, and heartbreak told across eight addictive and emotional synth pop anthems - a seemingly classic tale delivered unblinkingly through the frame of the modern world.

LYRICS:
I’M IN LOVE AGAIN
OF THIS MAKE WHAT YOU WILL
I’M JUST LOOKING FOR THAT THRILL, TONIGHT.
TO LOVE AGAIN
TO LOVE AGAIN
ALL THE TIME I HAVE I BORROW
I’M NOT LIVING FOR TOMORROW
IT’S NOT THERE.
ALIVE AGAIN
ALIVE AGAIN
I DON’T NEED TO DIE TONIGHT
TO DIE TONIGHT
AND SO VERY LONG, IT’S TRUE
ALL THE GAMES I PLAYED TO REACH YOU
I DON’T CARE AT ALL
I DON’T CARE AT ALL
THROW IT ALL AWAY
THERE’LL BE TIME TO LAUGH
TIME TO LAUGH
SOME DAY
TO FADE AWAY
TO FADE AWAY
THE TIES WE HAVE WE’LL SEVER
YOU KNOW NOTHING LASTS FOREVER, ANYWAY.

Kennedy is so beautiful in this video. She looks like a silent movie actress from the 1920’s. Timeless beauty 🖤🌹
It sounds like the very heart of the 80s was taken into loving hands and gently placed inside of this song.
This is one of the best songs I've heard in my entire life.
This is my favorite modern band, everything they release is just fantastic and they completely nail the vibe/aesthetic they were going for.

usually when bands try to sound/look 80s it fails miserably and just looks try-hard and sounds cheesy. that is not the case with this guy. he pulls it off flawlessly. aesthetic on fucking point. if it wasnt for the high def quality of the video i wouldn't be able to tell you if this was from 1984 or 2019.

Mikhail Ali Mona and Deb are not human, they are agender vessels and as far as I know, Alex and Andrew have never requested specific pronouns for their characters. In that sense, saying him or her doesn’t matter. If they ever bring up that a certain preference for a pronoun that should be used, I will make sure to. Until then, pick your battles or you’ll run out of steam.

Driving 150 miles to Phoenix go see these guys. I don’t know what it is about their music, but they have this beautiful ethereal quality to them that conjures the same vibes I get from Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, and the Danse Society. It’s really dreamlike and I just remembering playing Careless over and over like 3 times in one Day I was at work. Really looking forward to seeing them
I love Drab Majesty's videos because they're not just a bunch of quick cuts. They look at the past with affection and the commentary on those past aesthetics is subtle, while also building on them. Thank you.
what a masterpiece in vocals, synths, Tears for Fears, Porcupine Tree, Depeche Mode, Chameleons, The Cure, Chameleons, Cocteaux Twins
