This is a real westerner who really want to know about China. Unlike those that just smear and accuse, he is responsible for his words. I can boldly says that most western countries politicians are not responsible for thier own words!

Wow, l am so blessed to hear an American speaking my/our dialect. My family speaks Xiamen dialect, n it brings back memories. But now my grandparents, older relatives, parents are all deceased n the dailect has slowly dissappeared from my family, n in my country, now Mandarin is widely spoken around the world. My wish is that when the borders are opened, l hope to make a trip to Xiamen to visit n trace my roots n reconnect with distance relatives living there. Thank you to Mr Brown n his wonderful family for all his amazing life experiences in vast China n teaching us good lessons in respect, humility, understanding, patience n perseverance in life. Yes, life is short n we have to make the best of it. Praying for peace in this world, that many countries will come together to work together in this win win situation. WAR IS NO ANSWER, EVERYBODY WILL SUFFER, AS WE SAW IN WW I, WW II, VIETNAM, AFGHANISTAN(on going n ppl are still killing n suffering), YUGOSLAVIA, IRAQ, LIBYA, N SYRIA. Millions have suffered under these atrocities. Praying that these evil will stop. Yiayou China.

Dear Dr. William Brown I am a Malaysian Chinese. My grandparents came from China when China was going through the period of hunger and chaos. I am writing this letter to you in regard to China Dream. China has been a civilization state for over 4000 of years but yet the vibes and dynamism of Chinese civilization does not truly exit. In all it is just superficial because Chinese civilization has not been truly taught in the academia, or practiced in a great dynamic way and neither has it been taught or practiced in any part of the world. Today we see the vibrant development of China in all fields, domains and dimensions but yet there is undercurrent of chaos in the families. There is still human degeneration in the society. The society in China as a whole has not been tested yet so as to speak. There are underlining currents in the families. There are invisible strives and unhappiness in the families. In essence, real true civilization in China is still outside the grip and remains in its incomplete state and will remain so if it is left on its own and not addressed. In time there will be hemorrhage of social chaos. With all humbleness and due respect I am writing this letter in hope that this deficit of China Dream will reach to the highest echelon for rectification and to create a substructure and superstructure that will withstand all forces of nature human or otherwise. In humbleness I propose to bring this civilization into real practice in the real world and to be taught in the academia rather than to let it stand alone and degenerate in passage of time. Social degeneration will not be so visible in time of national prosperity but will become a pathology unmanageable issue in time of social degradation. It is great urgency that we embark on the road now to arrest this inevitable decline and chaos of things before they happen. I am not speaking only for China alone but for the world over. These family feuds, uneasy and disharmony are the things will remain with us unless they go under great revolutionary change. We need real change with practical knowledge imbibe in our society before we can truly be regarded as civilization state in all angles and dimensions. With great due respect I would like to deal this issue with your assistance to push forward in creating a practical workshop beginning in academia to create a solid unbreakable era of a new society and civilization and I have a solid foundation of practical knowledge to implement this project throughout. Through more than forty years of writing my books - Two self-improvement books and two novels - I take great pride to say that I have brought great wealth and harmony to my family and wish humbly to share my invaluable knowledge and achievement to the Chinese people and people of the world over. Thank you William Lew

Why Most Sholor Foreigners wants to Settle in China as Chinese Citizen Rather than Own Origin Native Place . But China is most Safer Destination than rest of Global Countries . Where No Countries can Provide not even Switzerland or Iceland or Best rated Countries Globally .

Dear Dr. Brown, you are a hero and a real easy going, frank and friendly American that I am familiar with. How nice if those American hypocritical politicians can be like you, or just half like you. Please don’t mind me saying that the chaotic world today we live in is partly if not wholly caused by those self-serving US politicians! With the US turning from democracy into plutocracy and with 30 millions of street homeless in the US, the politicians instead of finding solutions resolving these pressing internal problems, are still maliciously, adamantly & blindly accusing China of being a threat to the world peace!

It's past life karma. Lots of people in the world have the experience that they have a strong affinity for a certain foreign culture, language, music, food, the people, etc. The most obvious examples are the western Buddhist monks. They might be born and grew up in the USA, UK, Czechoslovakia, Norway, etc, but they find themselves drawn to learn Sanskrit, Pali, Chinese, Thai, and travel a long way from home to live in a foreign land as Buddhist monks. It's the same with many expats in China today. How else to explain the amazing choices?

First time I hear Angmoh speak Hokkien. Hokkien was the Lingua Franca of the Chinese of Nanyang (Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore). The Speak Mandarin Campaign launched in 1979 killed off most Chinese dialects. He pronounced Amoy wrongly. It should be A-Meng.

As a Hokkien speaker, I can say there are actually different kinds of Hokkien depending on which region of Fujian you live in. So A-Moy and A-Meng are both right, just in different styles
