We are a constitutional republic in that we elect representatives to vote on our behalf following the constitution. In a democracy, New York and California would always choose the president due to population, without consideration of the central states votes. We have an electoral college, which gives the central US states representation, which is how a candidate can win the popular vote, yet not win the presidential election. We are a constitutional republic based on a system of democracy.

I went to get a new license 2 days ago because I moved and I can't get an apt for another month because Pritzker just passed a bill to allow illegals to get driver licenses. This should be the breakfast club. You guys think more critically and open than people on that show. Being able to think on your own and to amicably disagree will take you so far in life. That's what we need to teach in schools.

It’s true, a lot of the men that retire from the Navy when my husband was in the Navy, retired at $1,200 a month. He served 21 years in the military and all he got was $1,200 a month and for 21 years of military service. That retirement is a disgrace.

I keep hearing that social security is running out of money, so why are these refugees getting social security? I applied for a security position and at orientation, it was just me and a hispanic man. Not only did he get to start immediately and I had to wait two weeks, but they gave him $4 pay bump AT orientation, so he ended making $2 more than me. The security guard at the gate told him not to bother unless he spoke Spanish because the foremen only spoke Spanish and they only hired Spanish speaking workers for that reason. My son had Spanish in high school, but wasn't fluent enough to speak it in a factory setting. Speaking Spanish shouldn't be a requirement for a job in the US. We lived not far from Mexican town in southwest Detroit and on the bus route from there. It's ok though because they were paying them $6 an hour and the factory about a couple miles farther down was paying $15 an hour for the same job. Both companies did the same type of work with the difference being English vs Spanish. That Spanish speaking place was shut down about a year later due to OSHA violations.

Same thing here in Virginia too. Democrats won the state house in 2023....and the very first thing they passed was free healthcare for illegals. No shit, not anything to help the working class, nothing to help families in need b/c of high food prices..NOPE, lets give illegals free healthcare. They even earmarked $650 million for it. Then just 2 days ago it was announced that Virginia's Medicaid costs were $140 million over budget in the fiscal year that ended on June 30. You'd think Democrats would rethink their illegals free healthcare program knowing that...NOPE, their plans call for kicking almost 40,000 Virginians(American citizens in need) off of Medicaid instead of the illegals. They are literally putting illegals ahead of American citizens. Tim Kaine, 1 of the VA Senators supports all this and that man is LEADING in the polls to win re-election to the Senate.

We keep hearing that social security is going to run out of money, but refugees are getting social security checks every month? I know seniors that don't get $1500 a month even though they worked and paid into social security for 40+ years. That pisses me off.

Trump had promised to restore it and he got enough people behind it to get it through Congress so it is permanent now. Head of the NAACP thanked him for it. If you Google it, only 1 source gives him credit as the liberal media won't praise him in any way, but a couple articles do actually say how he had promised it and delivered on his promise.

I reached out to Umar to come to one of my community events. All he asked for is air fare and a hotel. If I was selling tickets he would charge 4K. I reached out to David Banner, 20K plus air fare and hotel for 3 days. People say Umar chases the bag, but he’s really about his people. Anything Black community related he’s comes out for if he’s not booked. Despite his persona on camera bruh is down to earth.

One of the only things that comes out of Umars mouth. He’s completely correct.

I had a FB friend post that meme. I was an HR manager in tire warehousing and explained that nearly all of the forklift drivers were black but we contracted with a company that provided loaders who were Hispanic. I explained those Hispanic guys would love to take those jobs and sit on a forklift all day. I got zero response back.

Let me clue you in on something, reparations are owed to black Americans like it or not, slavery was just only the beginning of the damages, you had Jim Crow, debt peonage, convict leasing, mass incarceration, deed restrictions, housing discrimination aka redlining and denial of FHA loans, exclusion out of the New Deal, exclusion out of the G.I. bill, eminent domain of black owned property, destruction of black wall streets, there were reparations for white people after the civil war for "lost property" aka black bodies, etc...
