@samyajyoti de Sage agastya was one of the saptha rishis and direct disciple of Sage Vyasa. He was a sanskrit scholar and a tamil scholar. If you study tamil and sanskrit, there are many common words. no one can assertively say its origin is tamil or sanskrit. let us not divide ourselves on the basis of such notions. Tamil has some extraordinary texts, please, let us try to spread it amongst others and educate north indians.
