I saw Slim Pickens as a guest on a late-night talk show in 1969. The host asked him how he was able to recite all of the pilot jargon in the script. He admitted that he couldn't memorize all of the technical stuff but would listen to it read over his earphones and just repeat it. Some pauses were edited out.

It not really hard to do. There a github program that runs it. I just was experimenting with it. They are working with better Ai programs. They arent there yet. But pretty close. Should check out documentary by Peter Jackson " "They shall not grow old"

@@martinlisitsatato be honest no, it’s not interesting. That table’s not a real representation of of a table used in the real ‘war room’. It’s fictitious, I don’t care about what colour it is any more than I care about what colour socks any of the fictional characters are wearing; it’s not important. However, what has been lost is the director’s vision. By colouring in the original the stark contrast between the blacks and the whites is lost, and with it some of the bold compositions are lost in muddy looking colours. It looks f*cking horrible and is a waste of time.

watching it for the first time 9 years ago or so I was really impressed how good it looks and how your brain just fills in the black and white-ness with colors by itself after a while

Color takes the morbid effect. Though Tracy looks better in color.
