Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee was this year's speaker. Dr. Mukherjee was a Rhodes Scholar who received his D. Phil. in immunology in Oxford (Magdalen College) before attending medical school at Harvard. He is best known as the author of The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer, for which he received the Pulitzer Prize.
