@neil ny I can't understand, how you say that you are developed. You even don't know a bit of history. Kohinoor was originally mined from diamond mines of Golconda, that is situated in Karnataka, India. Firstly, the king of Golconda had kohinoor, then the Mughals got it by conquering the Golconda. Nadirshah was just a invader that invaded the Mughal empire, and looted the Kohinoor. Kohinoor has a long history but it was originally from India.

@@altamashkhan7650 Mughals preferred colored stones and did not favour diamonds. No one knows where koh i noor as an uncut gem was found. Darya I noor war larger diamond. Nadir shah got the koh I noor but Sikh ruler ranjit singh got possession of it. His son duleep singh willing gave the diamond to the British as a present. The present koh I nor with that British has been recut because original was flawed. Koh in noor is the 90th largest diamond in the world and not the largest. Indians do not have clean air to breathe; they do not have clean water to drink. In fact all water tables in India have dried up. What will you do with a diamond? Ask your temples to sell their treasures and gold holdings and distribute that cash to all Indians and that would make Indians the richest in the world. Do you know how much gold only temple in Kerala has? Enough to feed all Indians all their lives! So blame the Sikhs for koh I noor !

This comment is un-true, like all nations British history is drenched in blood. However Britain has many notable achievements un-equalled in history. The British Empire allowed the UK to end the seaborne slave trade GLOBALLY. Notably today the county with the largest number of slaves is India with an estimated 18,000,000 slaves. The British inventions of antibiotics has saved BILLIONS of lives. I could go on.. Lean some history

This is going to be interesting.... because I'm sure they don't tell their own dark truth in school...as an Indian, how my blood boils when people talk of Churchill as a hero... he was worst than Hitler because he was never punished for his crimes which were as horrible if not more than the acts of Hitler☹️...if you don't believe me, check out Jallian Wala Bagh Massacre.

Recently bbc released a list of top leaders and churchill was at 2 nd even before Nelson mandela. I'm like west has gone crazy. They dont like to point out their mistakes . It is evident in the chaos created in Yemen, afghan, syria even Israel and palestine. Almost in all the current day issues you will find the contribution of west. But they hide it. Asia has a much better history than the west for sure. But still they are taught history in a way that they were great and colonies should be grateful to them. Rather they should be thankful to the colonies for the development which was done at the cost of our future.
