If this is a case of negligence then debate needs to happen. Cardiac arrests happen all over India, survival rate is very low thanks to our medical system. Awareness is needed.

But appu had collapsed in clinic... Doctor had only 5 mts to save... was it remote village... one anasthetist was enough to save him..he should have intubated and ambubagging with CPR was required on the way of transport

It's a natural death not a murder, don't question the Doctor. He explained everything in detail about Appus health. He's a family doctor and hes more aware of the situation.

Negligence and medical malpractice happens. In this case the doctor sent an at risk patient who was displaying pre signs of cardiac arrest (dizziness, ecg strain) without any medical help. Puneet might have been saved if cpr/defibrillator was available. Think about that.

@@vasudhabhat7608 Puneeth was given emergency medicines like aspirin and nitrate . Its what any doctor gives when patient shows signs in ecg . And if its a small clinic and defibrillator wont be available at such setting. He needed further treatment which was why he was referred at the earliest.

Doctor is Padmashree awardee Don't blame him...he is one of gem in field of medicine .

If Puneeth would have survived then Doctor would have become an hero, everything is in God's hand, doctors can only try and do their best rest is God's decision. It's not just doctors decision to take Puneeth to Vikram hospital surely it would have been decided after talking to Puneeth and his wife. If doctor would have referred nearest hospital other than Vikram again question would have been asked why Puneeth is not referred to Vikram hospital where he could have treated by best doctor.

For Doctors this is normal thing where patients come to them complaining chest pain. Maybe Doc did not know outcone of this pain wiuld result in Appu sir's death. Now we all have to live with this pain and los Rohit Bhai. We have lost our super star. All what we can do is pray for his soul.

My father also died BCS of heart attack...it was sudden same like appu sir..my father was coming home from market, he got sudden heart attack, he spoke many people in market while coming to home, after my father's death all those people told us he was talking very nicely to us , we did not expected he may get heart attack...some people said he was telling I have chest pain little may b it's BCS of gastric he told to some people...my father death was also sudden ... 😭😭😭...but that time there was no hospitals nearby ..but in appu sir case doctor was near to him ,I don't know y he failed to save him ??..

@@vasudhabhat7608 I have called for an ambulance and had to wait 45 minutes for it to reach us in the lousy Bangalore Traffic , then again another 45 minutes to reach the patient to hospital....what doctor did was the best decision to reach the hospital as quickly as possible....he had forewarned them to save time in admission procedures there also.

I have got treatment from this doctor during my 8th grade to 10th grade .... Telling with expirence he s genuinely caring person .....have never seen such a doctor untill now..... Nd the tablets also worked very well for me .... My parents still tell me like " if raman rao doctor hasn't treated u it would be tough to get u back alive" ..... So plz stop this kind of complaints on such great doctor ..... If he treats normal ppl so well then punith sir is celebrity I don't think he would something bad for him

Media should respect the doctors professionalism and privacy of patient.unnecessary questions doubting credibility is ridiculous. Dr is the worst affected when patient is lost specially he being a family dr.I think somebody should stop this ridiculous question forTRP sake.Give sometime for the dr to take recover from loss.

The event that is occurred is very unfortunate. Yes we all love Appu Sir, we all do have the same pain in our hearts for missing such a wonderful soul. Dr. Ramanarao has done perfect first aid needed to recover Appu at that moment. The desicion making done regard to taking Appu sir to Vikram hospital, since Dr.Ranganath was there family doctor was perfect. Dr. Ramanroa had alerted the entire hospital team regard to the situation also was well explained. We should not just blame a Dr. Like this. When Appu sir , himself is calling Aapaji for Dr.RamanRao , it shows the belief and confidence the appu family had towards Doc. Cardia arrest differs from Patients to patients, maximum recover, but very few we see failure. In Appu sir's case the fate played the vital role, no one can be blamed. We have to bow down to the God's desicion in life liking or unlikely. God would have made big heart to spare our Appu for all of us. 😔🙏

Doctor is Padmashree, he has treated Appu since childhood and was a personal Doctor for Dr. Rajkumar as well. Why will he do anything wrong.

Doctor statement appears ok but such eminent doctor should be in tertiary hospital where all type of facilities are available. In cordiac patient cases when tertiary care is not there, it would be waste of time to visit small clinic like this doctor. When facilities are not there in his clinic, the doctor is advised to close down his shop and join tertiary care hospital that would save precious lives like Punith ji and others. When facility is not there in his clinic, the doctor should not take chances to treat heart patients. It would save precious time to heart patient, so that his life can be saved.

When people can't target god/destiny for the uncertainty the easy target is a doctor??

Only doctor knows the pain when his patient dies....the people who don't know ABCD of medicine commenting his skill and judgement.. As a doctor I know he did right thing at right time...doctor is not god..he can try his level best.. that's what he did.....

Any other doctor would have taken similar decisions under those circumstances. Dr. Ramana Rao, is one of the last persons talking to our dear Appu. Think how much bad he might be feeling. Inspite of these, he has been calmly answering to all the interviews.

I can see many comments supporting this doc he might have done as per his best expertise but there may be better ways to handle this situation so that it doesn't occur to anybody else and because its a celebrity case it can bring more awareness among general public to not take whatever doctor says for granted..Puneet Sir's wife can clarify her take on this as she is the sole witness..doctor is now talking about rescue medication which he did not tell earlier and not administering CPR cannot be excused..he said ambulance can delay Appu going to hospital won't ambulance have other essentials like oxygen and paramedics who can give CPR as a doctor he shud have imagined worse and be prepared for it My personal experience dealing with 2 heart attacks for my father both times unfortunately we were misguided ..if my dad survived that was only because I took second opinion from other doc and followed my gut feeling ...everybody should be cautious and be prepared to deal with such situations

Yes. My opinion also same like above. Good explanation. Because of Dr.Ramana Rao negligency decision only today we lossed a great humanbieng and Multitalented person. What is a Doctor. They should be like gods. But here what happened. It's was clearly showing that Doctor took wrong decision as he want.

Doctor is very genuine, he is prompt in his reply..he is a close doctor of Puneet family.. Please don't create unnecessary disturbance
