How are these conditions Dr. Chopra talks about so in depth are not more well understood and treated for regular people? This video is 4 years old. I’m 26 and I know myself, and at least 50% of everyone I know (of all ages) have struggled with things like EDS pain, MCAS, gut problems, etc since childhood. Yet I feel like I’m out here treating myself. Learning from KZread and Reddit, etc and only going to my doctors when I need something prescribed or to fight to try to get a test ordered… but in reality we’re treating ourselves…and it’s expensive and draining.

This is great. Thank you. But a correction is needed: dizziness IS a common symptom of a csf leak. A meta-analysis showed it can be prevalent for up to 30% of folks with a leak, so it's not useful as a differential diagnostic tool.

I don't see any mention of Prolo or PRP prolo as possible assistance for the hEds patient. Both my sister and I have connective tissue disorders thought to be under the umbrella of hEds and prolo is like our glue.

@@debbiehill1257 Hi Debbie, all my treatments have been the ligaments of the spine and SI joints. My sister has also had front ribs and even her hand done. I can’t imagine living with a connective tissue disorder and not going for prolo.

Platelet injections, similar to prolo, in my knee joints really improved my mobility and pain levels in the joint. I have been helped so much by alternative practitioners.

Hi, would love an update if this treatment has been helpful for you? Was it something you paid for out of pocket or thru insurance? Does it completely solve the problem better than surgery? I most likely have CCI but getting doctors to take it seriously and do testing, let alone real treatments seems difficult or unlikely to happen.

@@Anotherhumanexisting I would not be a functioning human being without prolo & prp prolo. It does not completely solve the problem. It like temporary glue that gets you through chunks of time until you start to fall apart again, and you need another round. I don't know what kind of surgery you're doing, but this is less evasive. However, it does require a doc that knows exactly what they are doing and good support physio, massage etc. thereafter (again that know what they are doing.
