He was right. As a recovering alcoholic, Craig knew Phil had no clue about the treatment of addiction. I love Craig's clever quick with and his natural ability to charm. And his name isn't Ferguson. It's Craig Ferguson. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This was surprisingly funny (the second bit that is)

I've always liked listening to Dr Phil, he's very interesting and funny in conversations. Never thought he would have been on Ferguson's show so this was a nice surprise.

I'm surprised that Dr. Phil was on the show six times. I don't think Craig really liked him all that much. Always referring to him as "not a real doctor".

I'm not so sure. He's mentioned before that he does it as a joke because he likes him and knows he won't take it the wrong way.

EWE Network I didn't know he said that. He fooled me then because I was sure he couldn't stand him. I guess Craig is a better actor than I gave him credit for. haha

yesman699 Yeah. He said that in an interview regarding one of the interviews in this clip. He said it was much easier - and personally funnier - for him to poke fun at Phil than Lindsey Lohan or Britney Spears because he knew he'd handle it as a joke. You can tell in these interviews as well that they're friendly. You can tell when Craig really doesn't like someone, I think.

This was actually hilarious. I like subtle humour :3 These two are a good match, but most people might not get why ;) :p

He did a podcast with bobby lee and said he's not a fan and could tell when he brought up addiction that Dr. Phil had no idea what he was talking about. It was just a good facade.

​@knwr I saw Craig on bobby today and listening to him talk to Phil, I think he's deliberately mocking him. Craig has never done that with anyone else in 14 yrs of TLLS.
