12 years ago today, Dr. Khoury and the Cath Lab team at St. Elizabeth Edgewood saved my life! 54 minutes after arriving at the Emergency Room, Dr. Khoury said to me in my dilaudid induced haze "look here at the screen Mr. Clephane, the picture on the right shows your heart. See at the bottom no blood is flowing. Now look at the picture on the left, this is live" ......With that, he poked through that Widowmaker clot and the Elephant immediately got off of my chest. Thanks now and always for that. But wait it doesn't stop there. Ten years later, he diagnosed a very rare blood disorder that was causing my heart to only function at 35%. This guy.
