Dr. Marie Radford discusses her research in the new field of Virtual Library Services. She talks about the way online reference materials have changed researching, how new issues have arisen, and the possible ways of solving these issues.
Dr. Radford is Associate Professor & Library Consultant at Rutgers University.

    I enjoyed your video.. so nice to see research about the evolution of library services & librarians here on KZread. Colleagues and I have an interest in reference and instruction across virtual platforms such as Second Life or OpenSim supporting courses offered in these environments. At UC Davis we have a couple of courses that benefits from a virtual librarian in the online learning campus (Moodle), as well as Second Life where some of the lectures and field trips take place...
