The Reverend Dr. Marcus D. Cosby, the third child born to the late Mr. Rogers Cosby and Mrs. Bobbie J. Cosby, serves as the Senior Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. A proud native of Chicago, Illinois and a product of Emmanuel Baptist Church where Dr. L.K. Curry served as pastor, Cosby received the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and English from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, the Master of Divinity Degree in Homiletics and Christian Education from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia and the Doctor of Ministry Degree in Homiletics from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Illinois.
Dr. Cosby is married to his high school sweetheart, Mrs. Audrey Marie Cosby, and they have been blessed with three beautiful daughters, Adrienne Marie, Ashley Marie and Aliyah Marie and two sons, Marcus D., II and Matthew D. Cosby.

God bless you Dr. Cosby, you are so talented and gifted. Even when I make it point to keep a straight face, you manage to have my face filled and nose clogged. I am exhausted from my unresolved issues.

Now you are really stepping on my spiritual toes by calling me spoiled. A similar situation took 13-16 months the first time but now it's been 6 LONG YEARS going into 7. As you were preaching I heard 7 is the number of completion. I would have much preferred it been 7 days, 7 weeks, or 7 months. In the last seven years I've grown more gray hair, attempt suicide, cried and prayed more than I have ever in my 61 years of life. God when will it END!!!!!!! Thank you so very much for this message.

I hope it ends in Jesus name. Do u know your purpose is the question? When u find ur purpose just walk … I’m doing so now. Went through a lot in my past and still have much going on but it’s not even with my life but those who I love which hurts just the same. But because God is directing my life and I’m walking in my purpose those woes no longer hurt. My concern is security as I’m walking even though God has took care of me for 5 years without working for no one. Hoping the best… cause I care! We care!
