We cannot compare singapore and Malaysia.. Singapore smaller country, easy to govern and easily to be develop. My words may sound easy but i know it ain't easy for the late LKY to manage. Giving some money to people will last in a very short duration ! But if the ‘ collected ‘ money say a few millions of ringgit , we rise some projects that are beneficial to the people , say we build a pond to store millions litres of water which after treatment processed , the water can be used by prabably millions of people as what had happen in for eg. in parts of the Klang valley . Then the people will say ‘ much tq. ‘ to the govt. that initiate the project which brings much facilities to them !

From the 80s, the government staff had such an easy life, that citizens found so difficult to get services. We have accepted that nothing could be done to improve service. Then corruption came to play to 'motivate' government staffs to do the job more efficiently. Najib may have given money, but generations of corrupt society that has become an essential part of malaysians was actually deviced long time ago. I did not say it was intentional. But everyone is equally to be blamed for this. I strongly believe najib did not start this. He just took the entire blame for working in this 'system'.

This man's thinking is really distorted. Giving people money is more convenient way to ensure their welfare rather to keep asking employers the minimum wages for employees. This waste, i mean Mahathir don't even know, that by just increasing employability and reskilling to the unemployed people you don't even tackle the real problems which are insufficient wages, increasing prices of basic goods and services and high price of properties. When he said he never used his own money and everything was afford by goverment and other people suit his life, ask him how does he emphatize the poor people who must spend their own money even to refuel their kapchais. He should be ashamed of himself. Ashamed of not living like his rakyat but more embarassed he gave all opportunities to his own children like no other. Please show evidence to support your claim that Tun M needed Najib's help and Najib refused to do so. anyway, the U.S department of justice had started investigation on Najib's money laundering activities. and they had found out that there are several investment in the US is under the name of Najib. instead of supporting Najib blindly, please think out of the box and look at the matter from a different perspective. to be fair, yes, i agree with you the contributions of Najib to the country such as MRT, Borneo Highway and etc. but have you forgotten Tun M's contribution? PLUS, KL tower, Petronas Twin Tower, Sepang F1 circuit, Proton, and etc. all of which put Malaysia on the world stage. on top of that, we mustn't forget Tun M's public speaking skill. look at his interview by BBC (look up the video on youtube) and look at Najib's sweating his ass off while talking to President Trump. what a shame?
