I have been strictly following my keto diet. I manage to include a 14 hour intermittent fast every day. I have been on diet for almost 8 weeks. I have been doing burst training 3 times a week, 20 minutes a day. My ketones bounce up and down like crazy. I am checking them with a blood ketone tester. The scale says that I have lost 16 pounds. However, I honestly can't tell where it's going! My measurements are still the same... Am I doing something wrong??? I can't afford to give up on this! Any help would be appreciated!

maybe it just take a bit a time for your body for to adjust to the new keto and it is after all takes 7 years for the body for to renew. so just keep do it and if you feel it is not good for you please ask some of the dr who is more involve in it and know. what ever you do NEVER OVERDO ANYTHING. your system will tell you somehow change a body or the body function system is take time. adjust take less time but still take time.

This explains why the people in biblical times lived a very long time by eating soups rich in collagen.

When you watch old black and white movies, those skinny people were eating butter and drinking full fat milk - especially their kids. They ate a portion of meat. They ate mostly whole grains in breads and crackers, the bleached alternatives were just starting to appear. They ate fruits and vegetables, including potatoes. When they did drink juice in the morning it was in a small “juice glass.” They were just starting to add the processed foods to the stores. Fast food restaurants were just getting started. People drank soda pop as an occasional treat, not daily, and certainly not with every meal. They ate reasonable portions at meals. Snacks were a treat, not a way of life. I believe the diet mentality started appearing more at that time too, but nothing like now. People need to be reasonable about food. No food eaten in moderation that’s from its natural source (the earth) is “bad”. Processed food (not food that has just been blended and/or cooked, but food that has had its structure altered) is bad. They take nutrients out of food and then re-add nutrients. Does that make sense to you? Sure, people who are overweight can lose weight on Keto. Fasting can be helpful too. But to be reasonable: you don’t 100% cut out any food that you have available, you’re not allergic to and that’s basically in its natural state. You just eat it in moderation. There’s a wide variety of natural food on earth, with a wide variety of nutritional value, not to mention flavors that enhance life. If you don’t need to lose weight, don’t have diabetes or food allergies why would you go on a diet? Just strictly avoid processed foods! God created food for our enjoyment and health. Mankind is ruining it by altering it, and polluting it.

Keto is about meat, fat, produce and cutting carbs. As long as you know where to shop, you literally can get a bag of onions for 2 bucks. Get a pack of chicken for around $5, and maybe some spices and herbs. Its cheaper than eating out.

I personally don't eat keto but my mom and sister do. But, we hunt our meats, growing our vegetables, make our own seasonings and sauces, make bone broth, and pick wild fruits. All are fantastic ways to save big! I totally understand that those are things that not everyone can do but maybe a neighbor has a fruit tree that they aren't harvesting from, or you find a killer sale on berries and can dehydrate them or freeze them. Than You can afford to splurge on the items You can't reproduce that add to a healthy diet. If you spend a little more on eating healthy you will save on health care and your loss time from work because you or your family member is ill.

Grow at home, like broccoli spouts. You can grow in the window all year long. Did you know dandelions are great for you? Greens for shakes and dry the roots for healthy tea. Poverty is in our heads. We need to to find ingenius ways to get our needs met.. creativity.."let the poor say I am rich..." :) Wishing you the best.
