As soon as a psychiatric disease has a bio marker, some other speciality takes it over.

My daughter is 26 yrs old, has been in ICU since February 2022, diagnosed with NMDA Receptor Encephalitis. Doctors first thought she had meningitis. Has had a cancerous tumor removed, 3 cycles of chemo, on a ventilator, had seizures when first symtoms came, on over 25 medications for the last 8 months. Several doses of IVIG and Rotuximab. Does not respond to Dr. commands to squeeze hand, shows tears when talked to, does not track with eyes. We are praying there will come a breakthrough. She has not been sick in her life like this ever. No history of seizures. Has a 2 year old daughter. Living on propofol to maintain the dyskinesia.

Hi, could you reach out? Can I know how your daughter is doing and have the doctors given you a solution?

Hi. What did you mean by living on propofol to maintain dyskinesia? I have dyskinesia and they're going to use propofol for 2 procedures for me.
