I dropped off my daughter to a birthday party that morning, in the building Dr. Ashton lived in, the one he walked out of and walked towards the GWB. I wish I had bumped into him, had a conversation, went for coffee. It’s sad how there are great people out there but are very sad, that’s why always be kind 💕

There’s more to this story……I wish his parents had been interviewed. Jen said he accepted their divorce. Why did he write “Call my Wife” on his suicide note? She wás his ex. Now she’s married to a billionaire who can subsidize her kids. I feel sorry for Robert Ashton

If you’re watching this and hurting, I’m sorry that you’re going through this Existence can be very difficult No one will truly know what you go through, and no one will say the exact thing you need to hear to snap you out of it, Because it doesn’t work that way Just know that there are many people that understand something similar to your pain I love you. You are being strong, and I’m very proud of you.

Suicide is preceded by mental illness/depression....an unending sense of hopelessness and feeling of being a burden...a mental agony that feels unending and unable to reach out or get meaningful real help.....i lost my uncle and my mom 5 yrs apart...( my grandma lost both of her children to suicide) my uncle was 42, my mom was 54. Mental illness(depression and anxiety) runs through family on both sides many generations. Traumas in child hood and adult hood play a huge part in the suffering...stigma and societies attitude of 'complaining' or 'whining' must stop!!!...people don't fake mental illness! They fake being well. Mental health care IS HEALTH CARE. WORDS MATTER!

I lost my youngest brother 3 weeks ago the whole family is devastated we can't believe he is gone. I know he has struggled most of his adult life and had c-ptsd and suffered from severe sleep deprivation but it is so painful especially when I didn't call him him in the last week and only text him so don't fully know what was in his mind over that past week.

Sorry for your loss. As a Catholic family, we have been practicing pray together (since we are in very young age; attend mass every Sunday, help the poor, read bible verses, Rosary, Divine Mercy). We also talk the presence of God, God is the creator. In our daily chaotic life and career, we never forget about God. Always make time to worship, glorify and thank God for what we have. We learned that we can talk to God and family when we feel alone. This routine is one of a very helpful tools in making us get closer together as a family, to love God, others and ourselves. 🙏

Yea man there's more to this story than we know for sure. For her to sit there and say they both agreed to the divorce was a lie by her. This man was clearly in love with her. And if couldn't be with her anymore than why live. So this story I'm hearing from different interviews is to not to believe that this woman knew what was gonna happen. And for him not jump off the bridge and into the water. And making sure she could see it from there apartment, jumping to his death to the ground. This man was heart broken so I just don't believe this bullshit story she's telling everybody. Once the divorce happend his life was over.

  • @therealfronzilla

I remember reading something about how she basically fleeced her late ex husband in divorce court and was allegedly having an extramarital affair. He showed no signs of depression? Usually people don't show signs before they get blind sided by a divorce and an allegedly ugly one. Those closest to this gentleman, need to think back about his mental state before, during and after their divorce. If he has any siblings find out what they are saying or have said about her. It would be interesting to get his families side of the story, that is if they aren't under a gag order. I've have friends who lost everything in a divorce when it was the woman who was, having the affair. If they didn't have a strong circle of family and friends I'd be referring to him in the past tense. Marriages today are actually just a business arrangement, albeit, the worst and most one sided type of business agreement devised. A man today, would have to be a fool to get married. If someone knows how the divorce system works in the US, tell me anything that benefits a man with regards to marriage. I almost made that mistake and was still raked across hot coals. Sorry for digression here but, someone needs to do a follow-up and get a behind the scenes story of what actually went down. If her goal, with this book, is to make people aware of depression then, there needs to be a full disclosure on her part so, people can see the warning signs and what might trigger someone like this guy to, kill himself. The saying there is a thin line between love and hate is, an understatement. Get both sides of the story and then piece together the actual narrative. What I fear the most about all of this, she is making even more money from this man with regards to his tragic death.

She caused her husband's suicide in a brutal way; made him feel a failure, had an affair, took his money, probably knew he was suicidal and strung him along to get the divorce before he took his life and changed his will. This is much more criminal behaviour than the the suicide texting recent case. SHe is clever though and has avoided prosecution and made more money out of it. Horrible dangerous selfish person

I worked with 5 narcissistic bosses who tried to make my life miserable. Tried. At the end I always got a better job and advanced in my career. Even if your statements were true (fact checker needed) it's unfair to blame and point fingers. The trauma makes some people stronger and some traumatized. Depression kills... not cheating spouses, money problems, wars, immigration, job loss or family illness. Depression.

So many thoughts about divorce, depression, and suicide. As someone who was "we decided to divorce", i am torn about any exes response to the ex's suicide. Hear me out as i am seeking understanding. I don't know the circumstances of your decision to divorce or who initiated or who 'decided'. People marry and divorce like life milestones. But divorce in itself is death. Something, some part, or someone dies when divorce happens. As someone who has thought about suicide every day since my ex decided for us to seperate two years ago, i wouldnt understand her feeling any 'loss' if i died or committed suicide. In fact I often think my death will offer her relief. But, she left me. And not that this is about me, but that is the context as to why i wouldn't understand any sadddness on her part, so i don't understand a feeling of 'loss' for exes.
