Thank-you so much for this interview. I nearly died and went to heaven listening to all the questions I have wanted to ask Dave for the last 30 - 45 years. How did he meet Roy Haynes, Randy Brecker, Ron Carter, Chick Corea, Joe Henderson, Al Foster this list goes on and on. You want to know how? They heard him play - just like I did at Berklee and could tell after a couple of measures... done deal. 582 views here is a crime against humanity. Ha ha ha - so glad you posted this.

@@SamoSalamonMusic by the way, there was a video of Scofield playing in an odd meter, a standard in 7 I think. It was at the Blue Note, but there are so many of him there...
