Jan and Dean? With that new hairstyle and blonde dyed hair it’s obvious Landy fancied himself a pop star pretender. I call that narcissistic delusion.

To be fair, the hairstyle/sartorial affectation you're describing is common among people trying to age gracefully in the entertainment industry.

I kind of do. That album is terrible! Love You is much better.

He didn't. Landy was involved in group meetings, but in the studio Brian was in control.

@@monte4503 Taste is a matter of opinion. Even if Brian was in total control of 15 Big Ones, I think most of it sucks. Except Just Once In My Life.

That "failure to surf" scene was not wonderful or funny. It sucked!

Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford pointed out in an interview that, in the scene in the "failure to surf" skit in which Brian Wilson is on a surfboard, the surfboard is backwards, with the fin in front.
