Nobody wants to ask why these messages Doc made, hasn't been leaked, or why ex-Twitch employees who have claimed to have seen these cleartext DMs don't share any contents of these messages, or even the court case where Doc has said he got paid by Twitch. It hurts twitch to make a statement or release evidence it's a lose lose for the company to say anything, it's about money and to prevent lawsuits,either from Dr disrespect or the victim, it wasn't egregious enough in (their eyes)to let him go immediately,just enough that he can still brings in revenue, to try to make up for the large sum of money they were having to pay out for him to go. And if that were the only inappropriate thing about the conversation, what would prevent him from saying that, since both him and Twitch would benefit from that revelation? Same thing with the alleged "sting operation". He says he had inappropriate conversations with a minor, so even if it was a sting operation, it doesn't make him look better or worse. When I refer to "blanks", I mean coming up with theories to like "maybe they tried to get rid of him for being white and masculine to promote black streamers instead", when there is no reason to think that other than the fact that Twitch had some obnoxious woke people in positions of power. Or implying that there are some legal barriers in place that for some reason prevent him from providing any truths that make him less guilty, but DO allow him to say things that make him look more guilty. It comes off as rampant speculation to find any possible reason why there could be some nefarious plot against him. I think KZreadrs, and everyone, can confidently say he inappropriately messaged minors, because he said so himself, and that's enough for most people.

The "twitch leak"s you're referencing for the most of the pro-DD claims are debunked by DD's statement itself - where he makes no mention of a side business, doesn't mention being setup by an undercover twitch employee, and instead admits to sending messages to a minor in a way that leaned in the direction of inappropriate.

He could've done something illegal, and just not been reported. "But it's wrong for twitch to do that!" Yes it is, but it's industry standard. Most companies will never report cases of abuse and misconduct. They don't want the heat, they don't want to admit, unless they're forced to. HR exists to protect the company. So, a world exists where Disrespect might have done something illegal, and twitch not reported it, and nothing out of the ordinary happened. No measures will ever be taken against twitch. Let's assume twitch did report it. Police will do nothing over text messages. Sadly, most reports about texts are immediately dismissed because the police have their hands full. It happens with everything text related, from death threats to explicit conversations. So, Twitch could have perfectly well known what he did, if he did something illegal, and not reported, or reported and police not acted, and that is just normal. Regarding him saying no wrong doing was acknowledged, I just think he will always paint himself in the best light. I take it with a grain of salt, and I think that's why people dismiss it. Of course he would say that. Whether it's true or not, what does it mean that no wrong doing was acknowledged, by whom, in which setting, no one but him, Twitch, and the victim know

Saying “we need to see those messages” is really inconsiderate to the fact that what happened involves a real person, a minor, whose life will be forever impacted by this (shame at being a spectacle, potential feelings of guilt, confusion if said minor was actually “interested” in Dr Disrespect, etc.) We don’t need anything. Show some empathy and humanity and acknowledge the reality of this from that persons perspective not just your own.

It's absolutely ridiculous to assume it was a twitch employee if the situation happened in 2017 and wasn't reported till 2020

I had heard the minor reported the incident but I am not sure if that’s been confirmed or just a rumor.

The fact that Twitch PERMANENTLY banned Doc gives us an idea that the messages were probably pretty abhorrent. Whatever was said in those whispers had to go beyond an adult telling a dirty joke to a teen or "mustache rides".

Lost a lot of respect for Nerd from this take. If it were Boogie in Dr Disrespects shoes you would have thrown him under a bus. Doc admitted it, context no longer matters. Weird take dude, weird take.

Idk if I agree with that Dr.Disrespect didn't confirm allegations, while there is a lot of speculation he did admit to texting a minor inappropriately, regardless on whether he actually met up with them or not I think that is line enough to get him out of here

nobody is saying he's innocent, people are debating HOW guilty he is. if he was 100% sexting a minor, why did twitch say nothing? if he was just making sex jokes with a 17 year old, why is he being so defensive? we literally don't know until either twitch or dr disrespect give more details. (by twitch, i also include former twitch employees who have information)

I defintely understand what nerd is saying and hes correct that theres not much public credible info on docs situation. But i do feel like with all the context clues we've been given (his admitting to texting a minor inappropriately, his game dropping him after looking into the situation, cheating etc.) I just cant really see him as an innocent person. Theres not really a way for him to come out of this clean. At worst hes a pdf file, at best hes a piece of shit who cheated on his wife and dmed minors on the side.

​@@TBHpodcast but its not just a trust me bro. Twitch dropped him. The game company dropped him (and the only reason to play the game was cause of the collab). He made a statement about it on twitter (which confirmed he was texting minors) Ive never been a fan of dr dis tbh, but even without my bias, it doesnt look good. Nobody, especially 30+ year old married men, should be texting minors under any circumstance unless they are family. Twitch may be a shit company, but if the game company dropped him, and twitch dropped him, and he admitted to doing SOMETHING regarding texting minors. At BEST he has never acted on anything and he is just sick in the head, at worst he has acted on it and he should be in jail. Giving the benifit of the doubt is nice but all the stuff we know about points to him being guilty.

​@@dariuszupan8145 Twitch dropped him but didn't contact the authorities. The game company dropped him (just like other game companies have dropped falsely accused devs). We don't know what the messages were, but people are comfortable saying DrD comitted a serious crime and Twitch covered it up. Instead of a criminal charge, he had an out of court settlement where he kept getting paid.

Nerd, this aint it man. Idk if you recorded this a while ago or something, but he literally admitted to it. Im all for benefit of the doubt, and i wasnt sure if i believed it when it first came out, but the dude literally said he did that shit. There's really nothing to read into here

Since the baited episode I’ve been waiting for a new TBH episode and I’ve binged the podcast again. I do wish that this was the Imalex one that Colossal mentioned but I’ll still take new a TBH episode.

Wow it was really great that Colossal woke up after 500 years and decided to record another podcast

my least favourite podcast is back

I was happy to see Boogie making some kind of progress with Lolcow Live, but this just proves he is incapable of conquering his own selfish behavior, much like the way he eats. Gluttonous behavior does not just apply to one problem, usually.

After you finally decided to put the previous episode in the podcast playlist i figured it was only a matter of time before this came out.

Dr Disrespect might be cheating in his marriage, but the real crime is how he got away with that mustache for so long

what's weird is that the victim didnt come forward after 7 years. if they were 17 at the time they would be 23/24 now... but maybe they were VERY young

pyro is pretty talkative in this one, usually he shuts up when actual big drama happens that isn't world of t-shirts being drunk on live or some shit

Couldn't disagree harder. People just tend to assume the worst of him whenever he has a more nuanced take. The episodes without him were sloppily entertaining but chaotic. If listening to these makes you outright uncomfortable that honestly sounds more like you being extremely sensitive.

I’m glad that once Muta and Charlie condemn something then we know it’s bad because they are the voice of the internet or something. I still don't understand why Nerd is on the podcast in the first place. He feels so out of place when the 3 other members are primarily meme/comedy focused while he's all about crypto/conspiracy. He's worse than Kaya from the Official Podcast, nobody likes them and wonders why & how they're a part of the podcast.
