DR Congo accuses Apple of using 'blood minerals' • FRANCE 24 English
The Democratic Republic of Congo has threatened Apple with legal action. Its lawyers accuse the tech giant of buying minerals smuggled from eastern Congo - from mines where human rights are violated by rebels - into neighbouring Rwanda. DR Congo's government is questioning Apple about its knowledge of what it's calling "blood minerals".
