We should have Dr Kirubi foundation This will leave a great legacy I was in MP Shah & I was inspired to see how these Shahs have been putting cash to charity. My suggestion is that Kirubi foundation will be a game-changer for this wonderful Kenyan. God bless Dr Chris

I don't like it when successful people tell us to work hard as if we're just out here sleeping. The truth is that it takes an element of luck and being at right the place at the right time for one to be successful. And it doesn't happen to everyone.
@matumunene5905

You are a good example of one cut out to be a classic failure. There is no such thing as luck. There is room at the top of you care to find out what it takes to get there. Success is for everyone who wants it.

@@matumunene5905 luck has a lot to do with everything, starting from how you were the sperm that made it, to why you didn't get hit by a bus the last time you crossed a road. It is by no effort of your own. By that I am not saying that you should sit pretty and wait for success to come to you by luck. I just don't agree that you ONLY need to work hard and you'll automatically be successful.

You are right and wrong. heres my take, luck does have a role in people who become as rich as Kirubi but also the element of hard work and basically being ready for the "luck" to occur. hypothetical example, in a very remote town theres a matatu that comes around to pick passengers every week but no one knows when it comes or at what time, this matatu comes at different days and different times every week, naturally most people give up and either choose to walk everyday, others turn up some days and fail some days, but one person, one resilient person decides to turn up at the bus stop every single day, all day. you have to agree this person has a high likelihood of getting that matatu, its science really. being rich doesn't need you to be smart but it needs you to be persistent and consistent, not a guarantee but a higher probability.

You're right but it's not so much about luck as it is about opportunity. Luck is winning the jackpot... That we have absolutely no control over. However one can attract good opportunities... If you keep working tirelessly you will increase the chances of landing good opportunities and meeting the right people. Bobb Unser said, "Success is where preparation and opportunity meet." The day is coming for each and every one who keeps working. What I don't appreciate about successful people like Bw. Kirubi here is that they are vague in their testimonies. They don't really give elaborate explanations to how they got to where they are.
God created with balance in every area. Human body has different parts with different functions. People the same are blessed with different gifts. Nobody is blessed in every area. God had great kings like David and great prophets like Isaiah. They were great but with different gifts. Kirubi has money but not health. Street boy has health but not money and they are both great. We are all great in our own ways and we are all equal in the eyes of our creator. Sick people are not careless and poor people are not lazy. If poor people can get rich if they want then sick people can get well if they want.

"Luck is when opportunity meets preparation".All rich people are just lucky...they prepared and the opportunity came through.If the same person was in a different scenario or place,the opportunity may not be there. many people work so hard but they are poor...poor people work so hard too...so lets not look at this as a manual for success. Being content is the key to success in life.
