This video shows how my DR Chipper/Shredder Pro XL501 failed when one of the shredder vanes broke off and caused a lot of damage. This also could have caused harm to me when about a 1.5 inch piece of the vane kick back and hit my helmet. It probably would have easily gone through my screen face shield. Green Box Elder branches well within the 1.5inch diameter where being feed into the Shredder. The Machine is new with about 6hrs of use on it. Until the failure, the machine performs really well. No complaints with that at all.
