I used to use dr b soap on my loose hair so I figured it would be great for locs! I just did some research first to be sure lol I’m new to locs. I’ll continue to use it on my starter loc and eventual loc journey. Thanks for the confirmation! I use the unscented one with the light blue label. I think I’ll just stick with that one. Despite being unscented, it leaves my hair smelling clean.
I’ve been using dr Bronner’s for years what an awesome product My dreads are young only a year old And I love using dr bronners on them either tea tree or citrus ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
I'm about 2.5 years into my loc journey. Been using the peppermint soap when I shower (with other soaps), but was afraid of using it on my loca until my loctician used it a few weeks ago when washing. About to try it in my wash tonight!!
What kind conditioning you said you used?
Is that product is clarifying shampoo and I’m going used it on my locks because I am going to be starting my box braids Locs soon and let me know if that product is clarifying shampoo.
🔥🔥🔥
I bought Dr. Bonner months ago, but just start using it. I have five year old sister locks and this is the best that my locks have looked and feel so healthy..😊
dr bonner is so good all around! whether it’s for your hair , body, or cleaning your bathroom… it’s so good!
Wait but are u suppose to mix it with water before adding to hair??????? I think that’s what I saw on the bottle.

@@AT-ec9gb I usually do 25% product/75% water in a bottle. The main thing is having more water than product. There’s also KZread videos that’ll show you how to dilute it perfectly.

You didn’t talk about leave-In conditioner, do I need a conditioner after washing my locs???

Don’t ever use conditioner on your locs, if you do u definitely need to rinse multiple times

It's Dawn soap but I heard Dawn soap is really good for bad build up
I’ve used Dawn ultra to get build up out of my locs before. It’s just as drying as a clarifying shampoo, so just be careful to replenishing moisture back into the hair. I’m not a professional, I just wanted to see if it could be used.
I hope you do a follow up
I have that one

Do you like it is it good for itchy scalp
I’m scared to use this because I’ve seen some reviews say it’s not good for locs because it leaves residue, but I’m still going to try it because everyone’s hair is different

I’ve personally not experienced residue. I use it to shower and wash my hair. Great smell and feeling.

I've learned that the residue is actually buildup being drawn out, so you have to thoroughly rinse out your locs
