That is like the supermodel of plants that come via box. Usually, all scrunched up and slightly damaged. It is as if this anthurium booked a first class cabin vs economy seat for most other boxed plants.

oooh Is Dr Block another physician? When you see him/interview him, would you mind discussing how both he and you balance work life with maintaining plants and finding time to work with hybrids? I've always wanted to get into messing around with Anthurium hybrids, but like you, I've only opted for no-fuss plants. I know of a fellow physician who owns a business raising pythons and it always blows my mind how anybody can find time for such a meticulous hobby.

I'm thinking Anthurium clarinervium x Anthurium crystallinum (silver blush) based on the darker roundish leaves and the silvery veins from the silverblush. Not sure how to cross the purple antocyanin overexpression in there tho.
