You are correct about a lot of people getting confused by the pastor’s teachings because many believers read the Bible like they read history books. However as a video critique make sure you use scriptures beyond what is used in the video you are criticizing so that people can actually see the wrong that you saw in the video and learn something from it.

Moses gave the angels the authority. the law came by Moses. the law was a ministry of threats and death. but grace which is the truth came by jesus. unconditional and unseperable love. the latter gives death. the spirit gives life.

The danger of this kind of teaching is that some believers will start becoming careless with their Christianity. It creates the impression that God is just God of love and not God of justice. God still punishes disobedience make no mistake about that. He hates sin, even though He loves sinners with the mind they will come to repentance. Please people of God one of the things you must never lose is the fear of the Lord. It is the fear of the Lord that make you to depart from iniquity; it will prevent you from living carelessly as a believer. Once saved always saved is a dangerous teaching. A believer who continues in sin, who fails to repent will go to hell. Watch what you hear.
