This video will be discussing DPSP or Directive principles of state policy. DPSP is contained under Article 36-51 of the Indian constitution. These are the directions given to state mentioned under article 36 of the constitution to be kept in mind while formulating the laws and policies for the governance of a country.
They are not guaranteed like fundamental rights mentioned in part 3 of the constitution but are very important in determining the performance of a government.
In this part of the video we will understand the basic meaning of DPSP. Also, we will cover the Socialist classification of principles.
