Ok for the symbolism..the colorful make up ian is MR.INSANITY which represents him in his manic high and the black coat dark aura guy at the end is Ian as MITO which is him in his manic lows as Ian has Bipolar disorder type 1. Hope u understand a bit now

He also had DID those are not just characters he knows when he is going to switch so he is not acting It's his personalities coming in front of his consciousness

@@ninam4423 oh really?? Didn't know about that..I mean I heard him say that DID and bipolar kinda go hand in hand,but never knew that he is medically diagnosed with DID. TAHNKS for telling tho

@@TanishaPrashar He even said in an interview with someone that when filming for the video he actually switched into Mito while filming his scenes I believe. He said he had never let someone see him switch before and they actually recorded it happening so he got to watch it after. He said it was really hard editing Mito's parts to fit into the video or something along those lines. He scheduled to MV shoot during his decline so that they could capture Mito. The storyline is what he's experiencing in real life it's pretty complex but its based on his bipolar and DID which means: Dissociative identity disorder... What's crazy is that he's not acting those characters he knows when he's going to switch they are real personalities in Ian's body Mito is one of his personality and as you can see towards the end Mito has a different view on music he's more into the darkness and likes stronge beats

@chiminyjinjin6104 exactly! They are totally different from each other they even have different taste of clothes, food even their passions are not the same they are 2 different people

You can watch his interveiw with zach sang you will understand a lot of things about his concept also his recent interview about his upcoming album would be helpful. Plus his documentary "memories in disorder" is another option about his first album

Check out all of his songs! His major influenced was daft punk, Jamiroquai & the Neptunes, he also a metal head.. you can hear the influenced styles in the music he produces.. it's so genre fluid.. This mito movie is the introduction a character based on his alter, MITO. His new releases (peanut butter and tears, so i danced & don't go insane) showcase a new character / alter, Mr. insanity.. if you love psychedelic trippy style genre this arc is for you.. and the visual production is on par with a well produced movie 🙂

DPR IAN is a really creative and interesting artist and he is envolved in everything: music video production, songs compositions and production, performance and visuals.
