dplyr: separate and unite

Ғылым және технология

The separate function in dplyr lets you split a character column into two or more new columns. The unite function performs the opposite operation, letting you collapse two or more existing columns into one character column.

Thanks for explaining R studio in plain language with easy to follow examples. Just needing to find a solution to renaming observation names within a column. Not to change the column name, just some names within one column. Can you suggest a method for this please?

You may need to install and load the R tidyverse package to gain access to dplyr and related libraries.
