This DPF problem occurred in my new i20 also. It was run thrice a week for 110kms daily at a speed of 60 to 70 kmph. After a month of traveling, when I completed 2200kms this DPF symbol appeared on my instrument cluster. DPF regeneration is not a very big headache to be worried much unless you neglect it for a long time. As soon as your car's MID shows.... "DPF regeneration required, see owners manual".....Drive for some 20 to 25 kms at 3rd gear at a speed above 60kmph. Then if the DPF indicator is still on in the instrument cluster, then just park your car in a open space, turn on the engine and switch on the headlight at high beam and turn on the A/C at full blower speed and open the bonnet. Then just select self regeneration on the MID, by pressing the Ok button or the dedicated DPF button,( if you don't have both, then turn on and off the key continuously for 5 times and switch on the car). Keep the car running for 30 min and the regeneration process will be completed and your problem will be solved. My car took 27min to self regenerate.

​@@pratyushkishore9030 Spot on! This is why diesel engines are such a big headache And anyone who says - buy diesel because it has mid range torque then those guys really don't know how to drive a natural aspirated petrol Buy a petrol and have piece of mind

Bs6 venue mein key rotation method technical upgrade diya hai.. jisme self regeneration logic diya hai venue mein.. 5 time key rotation,6 time start n dpf goes into self regeneration. My venue has been to service center 15 times in 6 month. Every sunday i go for 80km drive but dpf light comes every 300-400 km. Nothing is working, hyundai is clueless about the issue.

Never waste your money in replacing your DPF. Get it cleaned like brand new.

khadi gadi mein 2000 rpm for 30 mins se solve nahi hoga?

I have weekly drive of 200km on Saturday and 200km on Monday, and then rest of the day only 3km. Is it okay for DPF regeneration?

No that's not advisable But whenever DPF light occur u should drive at 70-80 kmph for 30 to 40 minutes

How to off def system

Nothing to do just remove the company stock silencer and replace it with straight pipe and you are good to go same goes for my verna 2022 diesel with straight pipe and proper tuning after it you will never face dpf issues

You are doing well mistake by company why company not provide bs6 fuel...its not good if it give problem dpf remove and free from tension

I recently encountered this in my brand new vehicle. The dashboard gave errors like 'drive mode malfunction' the engineer came to my place and ran the engine on very high speed with the help of computer. Later he advised the same thing that i should periodically run the vehicle on highspeed for long distance

Just use diesl additive from liquo moly. Full press ur accelerate in neutral for 20 second 3 times. It worked for me.
