DP Gachagua narrates his seven days of meditation and prayers
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has broken his silence on his loud retreat from the public eye last week. Gachagua who on Sunday said his style of politics changed to say less and do more, has confirmed that he went into seclusion and was incommunicado for a period of seven days. He says he used the time away from the public eye for prayer, fasting and mediation

Gachagua will most likely not be Ruto's running mate come 2027. Ruto will ditch Mount Kenya for Nyanza and Western. If Raila gets the AU job, he will support Ruto's bid on condition that the VP position goes to Nyanza. Ruto will promise Western presidential support come 2032. He will also promise western, nyanza and other regions positions in government held by mount Kenya. Mount Kenya will field one of their own dividing votes in Ruto's favor. Oh and Kalonzo will also run to divided the eastern votes in Ruto's favor. Ruto has learnt not to rely on Mount Kenya votes, especially when only 56% of them voted for him in the 2022 election compared to the over 80% riftvalley gave Uhuru in 2013 & 2017 elections. By the current trends, Mount Kenya will become the unofficial opposition come 2027 and beyond.

Because Mt Kenya is in Kenya. Why is it okay with luos that for every 1 million directed to a child for school in Kisumu a child in Garissa or Mandera gets 16 million. This injustice must be fought. Luos want power for the sake of it while other communities fight for their benefits.
