I really hope this isn't arson, because people are greedy and some apartment owners want to rebuild for free and jack up rent i hope these people have renters insurance this is horrible.🙏

Most apartments complex properties require their tenants to have rental insurance, hopefully they have it. I can’t imagine losing everything you own in such a traumatic situation. Thank God no one was killed. Prayers for everyone affected by that fire.

And I was gonna move to them apartments 10 years ago, glad I didn't!!! My Heart goes out to the people who lost everything, I just hope all goes well!!!

Highly unlikely that you would still be there after 10 years, unless life didn’t quite work out and you had to remain there for that long.

No Old. New construction last 55 years are FIRE TRAPS. L&I looks the other way. Lowered construction standards NOT EVEN enforced.

Wtf are you talking about? 1. What do you mean "so much of Philly is a tinder box"? 2. The governor is doing a lot more than issuing license plates. The problem is L&I which is a local agency not state govt. You probably don't even live in Philly

NO FIREBREAKS between SECTIONS of construction. So EASY to observe during construction.

The city's License and Inspections agency is underfunded and too much development going on. They can't keep up. It's greed really

Lots of new apts are all 2x4 lumber..need like ten sheets of drywall between units.

Test the Spirit in prayer 🙏 🙌 and keep knocking on her door call your counsel rep call your state representative keep making noise until you are heard collectively as a group. watch the video again. notice the concrete block construction of the exterior walls? 60's building. Masonry exterior, wood frame interior. Very common.

@@tobiasfunke2011 It has. New construction today is all wood frame and the wood is of such poor quality that everything burns except the foundation. They use crappy truss construction so there's not a stick in the building bigger than a 2x4.

Should there have been a working sprinkler system in a group of units that large? Because to me it seems as if there weren't. Thinking of those that have been displaced and most likely lost everything they've owned. I know it sucks & was definitely most traumatic! But at least they have their lives. Sending lots of love, positive energy, & plenty of light to them all!

I believe in order to get a certificate to rent out your building or house, you do have to have them
Hard to prove but I'd say arson. Lots of different fires on the roof.

Such a tragedy. These buildings need to have a robust sprinkler system as a bare minimum.
