@Pete Castiglione I think he said in an interview that he didn't hate them, but he feels uncomfortable whenever they approach him like "omg hi Doyle I'm such a big fan etc." I agree on the second point tho. For a guy who only knows powerchords and such he can do some kick ass music.

Kids asking way better questions than 99% of the interviews with this dude.

I interviewed him last year and he opened up about his social anxiety disorder. He gets legit nervous talking to people, he gets a bad wrap, but he is a heck of a nice guy.

It's kinda crazy to think he once had to crowdsurf off the stage and run out the venue doors because Macho Man Randy Savage had turned up backstage to kick his ass because he'd been sleeping with his wife. Like what were the sequence of events that even led to such a cool/relaxed dude getting into that situation, it would make a funny film xD

This kid has managed to have one of the best Doyle interviews I have seen. He actually seemed to enjoy talking to him, probably because not every question was centred around the Misfits. Good job 👍🏻

That's exactly what I think. And he said way more here than in most of his interviews. Imho it's because the kid is sincere and honestly interested. No hidden agendas. Doyle knows he can be just who he is and the boy is still impressed. It's quite a quandary being on stage in the public eye when you have anxiety issues. Idk how the hell he does it. People...adults mainly can get insulted by his personality but I guess if they don't like him there's plenty of others to talk to and fawn over. Or find another band or genre. He's not making "happy" music.🤘🎃

I heard he has mad social anxiety. A couple ppl i knew who had it acted like dicks because everyone is picking apart everything little thing they do or say is almost ready to twar this person down so they need to already be stand offish to save their own selves from being too hurt......thats what thwy have said. Maybe some coorelation?

He suffers from social anxiety. I can relate completely. He has been on The Jasta Show Podcast and has talked about his anxiety. From what I have heard and read he's a really nice guy. Kudos to him for being out of his comfort zone.

Doyle is such a quiet and awesome person man he's just a really really big kid

I've never seen Doyle so laid back and relaxed in an interview.

I met the misfits once when I was very young. I hung outside there Winnebago before the concert started, and was the only one for hours it seemed like. Jerry Only finally jumped out and started doing stretches on the wall near by. I ran and grabbed a grocery store bag on the ground and hung out with Jerry for a good bit. Then Doyle steps out and I approached him and he looked at me like a werewolf ready to kill with no remorse. I handed him my brown bag and he signed it, then they were swamped by fans! It was amazing hanging out with Jerry, and being scared to death by Doyle.

I normally hate channels focusing on putting children in front of the camera but Elliot seems like he's really into these bands and loves doing what he does. This is the best interview I've ever seen with Doyle and you've earned a sub

Doyle is one of the few people who can make a little kid chuckle and think: "this guy is so silly".

This is just why punk rock is so freaking... immortal, like little man said. Its beautiful to see how they are BOTH intimidated. Doyle is and always will be, one of my favorite and ENDEARING as bad as it sounds, i grew up with him in my ears. i would love to just get 5 minutes of our lives to talk... Rock on!

Dude, you're blessed to have the opportunity through your parents or whatever to get to learn perspectives from people who have offered the world uniqueness in a mundane society.

Everything becomes mundane when it excludes others. Subcultures that exclude everyone but carbon copies of themselves are equally as mundane as the mainstream whatever they're attempting to break free from. Whenever you create a tight knit network of closed minded ass clowns it becomes mundane regardless of who it is.

Just remember... Real "punks" have real hearts. What a class act Doyle is. Great stuff

Rhys Doyle and Alissa are horrible for each other. Doyle is 54 and Alissa is 32. Doyle could be her daddy. Also, Alissa ruined Doyle’s body. Ever since he became vegan he lost muscle. AND don’t even get me started on Alissa’s radical politics.

Kid: "Do you think Misfits will have any more reunion tours?" Me: "This friggin October at MSG but I'm poor and can't go! 😭😭"

Honestly one of the best Doyle interviews I have seen. This kid is gold. And the interview went well not cuz he's a kid and Doyle "behaved". But Elliott actually asked dope, well thought ot questions, not douche bag questions to provoke the interviewee , he knows how to respect an introvert's (Doyle) energy and space , at the same time seguewaying effortlessly and adding some nice quips. And his giggles is well placed not annoying. Good stuff guys.

best doyle interview i've seen! every grown-up just gives up cause doyle is the way he is. It gets silent, awkward and they they try to ask about technical stuff or something equally irrelevant. This just feels like we get to know him a little. Some really good questions and reflections. Really good work!

Fun fact about chocolate, it can actually be used as something to supress depression. If only this fact was brought more to light then maybe clinics with suicidal patients can be supplied with chocolate bars and other forms of chocolate. It would really help the world out.

Aww dude, I can totally picture Jill getting all excited telling them what the properties of the stones were. That really made me smile. And this is such a cute interview! Honestly, I'm glad he doesn't dwell on the Misfits anymore. I caught them at the Chicago riot fest and it was probably the best show I've ever attended, especially being right up front but I'd like to see how far he can take the Doyle band. There's so much untapped potential between him and Alex, it'd be a waste of time to keep going through the motions with danzig.

Daniel Cottrell it w0uld never be as good as it would have been if they did it back in the day...im fact it would suck. Have you not heard the crap the misfits put out without danzig? Im sure you have...and heard any danzig? Well if you combine those two sounds you get something awful. It would destroy the "legacy of brutality" of the misfits most people love. Kinda like that riotfest reunion where i was embaressed watching them perform.

Zack Arnold So far every reunion show was really good with Danzig and Doyle, also with all three. I liked Michael Graves also and Danzig is not bad solo too. I would be optimistic about it because these are great musicians. Doyle released some good solo albums too. I would say that Jerry singing main vocals with dez being a statue did not really do it.

The one movie that scared me (I haven't watched horror movies in over a decade) was the Exorcist. Five minutes and I returned the DVD.

I met Doyle at a Goegerous Frankenstein concert in Seattle. He was super cool and super nice.
