He's so good.... check out the mythos argo pedal for awesome doyle tones. It's a clone of his C.O.B.

Lefty guitars are, while still not as common, far more prevalent today than in his youth. Even if YT didn't exist, he likely wouldn't have chosen to go that route in modern time. His guitar teacher told him to choose how he wanted to learn before they got started since it would lock him into that style for life. Great choice, imo.

I played all of the Vem pedals back in the day and should have bought two of each when they were only $400 each. I got the Shanks because, in the room, it was miles beyond any other OD at the shop - and there were plenty. I had the same experience with the Klon back in 99, but couldn't fathom $400 for that one at the time. Pedals just weren't worth that to me then. Now look at the prices...

I often hear, "I don't know the pick up's in this guitar", or "I don't know how this works", or "I am not sure what speaker is in there". "I don't know signal order, or how to remove noise from the chain". Weird stuff. Just pay someone to do the cool stuff i guess. Not specifically ragging on this musician, but it is crazy common.
