This is a very nice looking watch that I really want to possess !!!

After having a Doxa Sub 1200T orange Professional for many years, I bought a Sub 200 Sharkhunter a few years ago. Great watch! When I had a chance to buy a Sub 200 yellow Divingstar at a good price recently, I jumped on it. While the lume isn't sensational on either 200 , they are excellent watches and the lume is adequate. I would not let the lume deter me from buying a Sub 200. Plus, for really good all-night illumination, Tritium tubes beat any other lume I have seen. My three Doxas are extremely well made and finished. I truly like and trust the workhorse and accurate ETA 2824-2 movement. The beads of rice bracelet is as comfortable as any bracelet on any watch I have. I would not hesitate to recommend Doxa Sub 200 watches to potential buyers.

I've come so so so close many times to buying this because of the case, which is basically the same case that old Omega Milsubs used. Back in the day the OG sub 200 case I think actually came from the same factory that was making cases for Omega. So definitely a ton of heritage and the way to go if you really want that old Omega vibe. But I find the dial and handset extremely bland to the point of off-putting, and 19mm lug width is really frustrating because this should really be a strap monster.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting the preeminent sellers (Like Exquisite Timepieces) and the people who allow you to review these beautiful watches.

Great brand. I have the Sub 300T Caribbean.

I love the Doxa Sub200 in Caribbean Blue. This black model would be my 2nd choice.

I have a 600 I got almost 2 years ago. The lume is way better than what people said about earlier models.

The sub 300 has the awkward kink on the BOR bracelet where the case connects to the bracelet, other than that i prefer the sub 300 for that traditional doxa look. Another way in to a cheap doxa is the jenny Carribbean 300 currently available on ebay in 3 different colours via purchase direct at the 5-600 dollar mark. The bracelets aren't great but its basically the same as a sub 200 in specification and all built by the jenny brand.

Can you replace the clasp with a strapcode clasp?

Nice watch. I prefer the case over the sub 300 and sub 600t. But the bracelet would bebmuch more comfartable if it would taper down to 18mm or 16mm. Maybe a dealbreaker for me.

Lume is definitely better... great colourway.

I want a 300t but this maybe a better way to got a doxa on my budget.

In many ways I think the 200’is better. I like the case more, and sure it cost less so that’s good too.

Great design but 38hrs or pwr and no COSC either is not sufficient. I want at least longer pwr or COSC accuracy. At least one of it. Having only 38hrs of pwr and lame accuracy is just so early 2000's.

COSC is a waste of money for a watch enthusiast IMO. If you are a Japanese train guard and wear that watch every single day...might be worth it. But as a watch enthusuast that swaps a watch every day or other day and carries a smartphone too...what's the point of paying $500+ for a +- 2 seconds a day worth of accuracy. There are too many variables in mechanicals (temp/orientation) that make it all moot anyway. At the end of the day it's your money but I'd rather that means a cheaper non COSC watch or more spent on the bracelet or other more useful features.

Both COSC and more than 38h of power reserve are useless features that only serve to increase the price of a watch.

I would choose the Seiko King Sumo over this one. It doesnt look appealing go me. Just my opinion.
