This video was filmed on February 27th, 2022 in Downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Most of the video was filmed on Market Street, including the Loma (Lower Market) neighborhood of Wilmington and Rodney Square. Also, this video offers a view of Brandywine River with a visit to Brandywine Park. This video focuses on the revitalization of downtown Wilmington Delaware. If you walk down Market Street today its much different from 5 to 10 years ago. “Restaurants, music venues, taprooms an upscale residences are popping up, evolving and growing at a rate not seen for decades.” The Queen Theatre, the Stitch House Brewery, and new hotels add to the ambience of Downtown Wilmington! It sure is a beautiful morning! And even more, because l'm enjoying another city tour, all the way across the Ocean, while having breakfast in Flanders.😉😄👍 Another sight of this part of Wilmington, that already changed during past years. That's the advantage of these recordings. You can compare the same neighbourhood during different periods of time. Who knows how it will look like in another 5 to 10 years. And then you even inform us about the history of some of the buildings. Very interesting! Seeing nature, the river, the park is a great part as well. Glad to see you were out and about again. It’s changed over the past 5-10 years and will change over the next 5-10 years! My long term plan……god willing, is to visit many of these locations every five years to record the changes! Hello 👋 and welcome. That’s a hard choice! But if I were staying in Wilmington I would stay on the riverfront. I also posted a video of Wilmington’s riverfront in 11/2020; I included the link below. The Riverfront is a bit more scenic and there’s a lot to see. I missed a section in my video that includes the Chase Center and Daniel S Frawley Stadium. Downtown is quite nice too! I’m sure whatever choice you make it will be the right one! I’m just partial to the Riverfront.
