There is no city like Iloilo, beautiful, peaceful, clean with a very malambing and very friendly people.

This video brings back memories of my first trip there in 2002. We stayed at the Days Hotel, and they were actually building the new Provincial Capitol building at the time. We also took a ferry to Bacolod on that trip, and visited Alubihod beach on Guimaras. My wife is an Illongo by birth, and I am one in my heart.

Kaya nga kaunti nlang natira mga tao dyan ngpunta sa Cebu para magtrabaho.Wala kasing job vacancies dyan kaunti lang business establishments.Karaniwan farming ang trabaho na madaling mapasukan.

LALAOS dn yang Cebu pag nawala na hype Dyan. tatak mo yan sa ulo mo at mga foreign investors lg nakikinabang sa mga highrise building na pinagyayabang ng mga 'proud bisaya' pero mga local wla nmng ambag puro overproud lg hahahaha.

I love the ekyline of Iloilo you can still see the road networkrk and the parks unlike other cities where you can only see the hgh rise bldgs eliminating the natural scenic beauty. It's only iloilo that has maintained the balance of the old and new .The view is a good respite from the choking skyline of metro manila and cebu. !

I just got back from Iloilo city. Very good people highly intelligent and the food excellent. The fruit 😋 is amazing. The weather and the views are second to none. Bought a motorcycle we rode all over Iloilo and Gaumaris just magnificent freedom a must try

underwater subway from Iloilo to guimaras sana guapo na kon may ara ta sina someday first ever sa Pilipinas pero damgo lang na ang akon tas underground electric power lines para limpio lantawon ang syudad ta.Metro sewerage plant and building parking structure para maminimize ang vehicle parking sa kalye,mechanize garbage truck disposal.

yes, there are people who cannot appreciate the progress of others because of their own apparent narrow-mindedness. you might have forgotten that iloilo city is part of the philippines as are cebu, davao, cagayan de oro and zamboanga. to put down or compare iloilo with other cities in the SAME country is like comparing your own nose with your own eyes, saying to your nose "you have been left behind because you cannot see..." and that is the highest level of stupidity, my friend. check this channel out, you will NEVER find iloilo city being compared with any other city. this channel is about beauty and beauty is not debated, but appreciated. if you cannot appreciate what's happening in iloilo, i suggest you keep your opinions to yourself. thank you for visiting.

Iloilo City is one of the oldest and richest city since pre-colonial era. It is one of the first settlements of our ancestors aside from Cebu and Manila. Iloilo City is in the same category with CDO in terms of progress based on SEA standards. You should be proud because one of the cleanest cities in SEA is found in the Philippines and it is Iloilo City. Yes, Cebu and Manila are progressive but they are highly congested as well. In Iloilo City, the roads are wider, there's less traffic, lesser crime, lesser incidence of corruption. Im general, it's cleaner not just in terms of physical aspect but also politically.

lmao gi bitter ka noy. hahaha Iloilo got the cleanest city river in the country and (latest news) it is the top bicycle-friendly city in the country. progress is when you see the city protect its environment and focus on the comfort of the people not the buildings of the rich. LOL

certainly, there is a lot of room for improvement, we give you that, but to say that nothing has changed for 5 centuries is to expose your own ignorance and misinformation. for one, the number of squatter areas has been reduced drastically in the last 20 or 30 years and the iloilo city of today has few resemblance to the iloilo city of a century ago. this channel NEVER COMPARES iloilo city with any other city because this channel believes that beauty is relative. we simply share to the world what you can see here in our beautiful city WITHOUT COMPARING it to other beautiful cities like Cebu, Bacolod, Davao, etc. we compare ourselves only to ourselves in order to better improve ourselves. we can never be like singapore or hong kong or korea. these countries have different contexts, cultures and customs than. they have different geographies, different forms of governments, different resources. so, no, we do not say we are the singapore of the south. we are simply the Heart of the Philippines. obviously, you've not been to the Iloilo of the Past and the Iloilo of the Present. it is better to have ambitions to be better than simply be content with giving nasty comments against those who are trying to improve themselves. thank you for your visit.

The cities you mentioned have higher poverty incidence than Iloilo City, and Iloilo city have higher HDI means more people are healthier, happier can afford to eat decent meals or go to school and life expectancy in Iloilo City is higher also to those cities you mentioned. Kaya tanggalin mo ang inggit sa puso mo dahil high risk ka. Ingat!
